| On the coaching front I wouldn`t mind Brad Arthur coming over from the Eels.
Seems a no nonsense sort of bloke who would certainly get us playing the type of rugby I would be happy to watch.
Don`t know much about him but see his last result was pretty impressive.
Oh and he has a great half back.

Of course but was thinking of the year after unless Agar gets us in to the top 3 and a CC Final.

| Encouraging comments from Callum McClelland on the F80 podcast the other day regarding Ryan Carr. He says he's in the Daryl Powell mould in terms of attacking structures. He didn't confirm if he was joining us full time.
He also mentions that he has a video review session every Monday with Agar and the other coaches to review his games for Fev.

It seems to be widely accepted now by many Fev fans that Carr will be with Leeds full time next season.

This is a bigger thing than people realise, and credit Agar deserves, although should be expected. McDermot destroyed our succession position of academy development, because he had absolutely zero interest in the academy players. They hated the dual reg, as got no feedback and no interest from him. Could not get guidance on how to break into team. How refreshing for them to now get guidance. I doubt his role at the club will be affected even if Carr joins full time. I imagine if Carr signs, he'll be the main reserves coach.

| I can see Carr being appointed as an overseer of coaching and player development but would continue with Fev also but only time will tell.

| Funny thing with Carr is that I believe it was always the intention for him long term, and to join the set up. Ironically all recommended by Furner.

Probably, though I was more wondering whether the Fev job might be a step up the ladder for Rob. Presumably it's an aspiration to be a head coach at some point.

| Head Coach: Richard Agar
First Team Assistant Coaches: Ryan Carr, Chev Walker
Reserves Team Coach: James Webster
Under 18s Coach: Rob Burrow
Academy Assistants: Jonny Wainhouse, Peter Clarkson
Under 16s Coach: Mark Butterill.
Academy Assistant: Steven Fox, Daniel Cook, Martin Wood.
That wouldn’t be a big surprise to me. Agar has worked with Webster at all the clubs he’s been at and Webster just left Hull KR.

Good shout regarding Webster but IMO Butterill is the most under rated coach at the club and I hope that he is not being over looked and is happy with his role as U16's coach (Which he may be happy with as he probably has one of the most important development roles within the club each season developing our junior talent)

Agreed, Butterill does a fantastic job, wish there were 3 of him, id have him Scholarship, 18's and reserves coach if there was. Much better coach than Burrow imo.
