I called out a few months ago, that I don’t see any of the established members of the squad as worth keeping because they are so mentally fragile they will fold at the slightest difficulty.
We will not recover while ever we have even half of this squad, and there’s no easy way to offload them.
Sacking Furner, and effectively backing the players, only made this harder. It was a truly stupid decision.

Ava seems solid but I think that’s the smallest of crumbs I’ll find.

Pretty much this. However, the ineptitude of the players is such that I'm pretty sure we'd have still lost today even if Furner had remained in post. |
