I don't Milner know personally but he's a friend of a friend. He used to tell me all sorts of stuff about Milner up at Toon.

Said that Souness was a fruitcake and once before a game in the UEFA cup Souness hadn't decided who to play between him and Darren Ambrose. So he called them both into his office and said "first one of you to get ready will play tonight". They both looked at each other puzzled and they both went and got ready as normal. Turns out Ambrose was the first to get ready so he played. Said there was loads of other stuff Souness did too and he just didn't like it up there

I think it'd be great signing these players however would the likes of krul and edgar really want to play league 1 football?
