Erm sorry but the guy has stolen a wage, a big one at that, for 4 years with us. I for one defended him early on and thought he would get back to something like his England form but he has been mostly a liability.

I think the thing with Ferres is that he just doesn’t seem that bothered. When he makes a mistake or gives away a penalty he doesn’t bust a gut to make up for it. When you factor in what he’s likely to be paid, the whole thing represents very poor value for money.

The thing with ferres is he has never been the player for us he was at Hudds. We have never got to see the player we thought we were getting.

He is obviously doing something the coaches like but I don't know what it is.

Regardless he will play. It's as sure as death and taxes.

Think ferres is starting to perform really well in defence (stats would be interesting) which is key.. but still not the player he was in attack.

I would be very shocked if so, he has been turd for 2 years now (really not sour grapes), let's be fair father time has caught up with him, and to fight a disease like sepsis takes its toll on the strongest of anyone.
Was really surprised at the swap, as Lunt hasn't played much competitive rugby and when he did he looked like an old man, a shadow of himself, he was fantastic for us before he fell ill.

Parcell went to get him off the overseas quota. Lunt can't really be viewed as being of the same standard.

If we can get him fit though, he'll be solid in defense and create the odd clean break. I'm glad to have him. If he can get some games under his belt, I think he'll earn a 1yr contract for next season.

My thought was that curly watts was faking the need for a head test in order to get the extra interchange. Surely there was nowt in it?
