Tough start and tough finish (especially if we make it to the CC Final) and once again our recent bogey month of May looks tricky.

London is (at the moment) August the 16th, which is a Saturday with a 3pm kickoff, it is however sandwiched between the CC Semis and Final if we get that far.

Catalans away is Friday the 28th of February.

Catalans at home is the weekend before the Tour De France and not on the same weekend (Catalans are away to Bradford that weekend so still in Yorkshire for the occasion).

Don't like the planning of that. Three of first four away and last two away, as others have mentioned, results in a few time continuous weeks at home. At one point five out of seven at home.

Surely could have got something close to alternate weekends.

The tenth time we've been to the south of France, I was hoping for a better date than bloody February. Perpignan X is going to be a damp squib.

Surely we could get nearer to home/away on alternate w/e's??

Is it due to fitting in with the Cricket and or Leeds Carnegie?

huddersfield, hull,wigan,leeds all ground share. pitches at the first three need reseeding. makes it difficult when sorting fixtures.

When you put that fixture list in the context of the debate over whether or not to get season tickets, personally I think it does become a bigger deal.

You don't want to be doing four home games on the trot, and you don't want to have big chunks missing if you can't go to away games. The pick and choose concept of not having a season ticket becomes even more attractive, when taking into account.

Plus the other teams that ground share St Helens, Salford and no doubt the London Broncos once they sort out a ground to play at.

The cricket thing could be an issue next season with Yorks playing T20 games on a Friday night throughout the season & not in a block as in previous seasons.
The YCCC fixtures come out next week - 28th I believe.

There is no way I am going so early in the season, just like this year in April so lets hope for a July or August fixture in 2015 !

Cold and damp.

Catalans will play the little clubs in summer. Warmer weather may tempt more fans over.
Leeds will take as many in Feb as Hudds, Wakey, Cas totalled together.
Makes sense to Catalans but a bummer for Leeds fans

Yep. I think we're going to give it a miss, barring some kind of lottery win.

catalans away in feb a bit poo.its about time games early season were shared out,we've been there feb,march,easter twice,june,july aug.after last easter thought we might have had a summer game.the same teams seem to get summer games there every year,wire,pie men and saints.

Don't be too harsh, it's their only chance to get some sunshine.
