If Delaney is deemed unfit to play for the Exiles, I'm pretty sure there is an RFL rule that prevents him turning out for Leeds 48 hours later. Likewise Leuluai.

Could be a case of last 17 standing get a game.

I think you see similar things in football with players withdrawn from Internationals only to play for their club a few days later. If the coaching team can provide medical evidence that he's not quite right to play in the Exiles game then shouldn't be no problem (I doubt the RFL will be that strict anyways, certainly not with Exiles players, its part of the reason only a certain amount of players from 1 club are picked, not to put too much of a strain on them).

If he's fit for Monday, which is over 48 hours later so completely possible with a minor knee knock then he'll be ok to be picked for Leeds.

Just gone back and had a read of the Operational Rules, and it explicitly states that a player withdrawn by the team doctor of a representative side can play for his club during the period that he would have otherwise been away on representative duty.

So even if Leeds were playing Sunday, if the Exiles doctor deemed Delaney and Leuluai unfit they would still be allowed to play for Leeds that weekend.

Ludicrous IMO, no wonder nobody gives a monkeys about the international game any more.

RFL confirmed Delaney A-ok to play Monday night regardless of whether he plays or not for Exiles.

Injury updates -

•Delaney is out for 3 weeks
•Kylie is a major doubt for Monday's game especially if he plays for the exiles
•Liam Hood is out for a month

So we could see Jordan Baldwinson on monday

Baldwinson wouldn't let anyone down imo i'm not saying he'll replicate what Delaney does for us at 1st team level but he does replicate it at u19 level and handles much bigger players aswell.
I think he'd add to our BR and hopefully he'll get some gametime sooner rather than later.

Clarkson may have to be removed from the naughty step.

According to McDermott, Peacock returned a good two weeks sooner than expected and did so against the advice of the Leeds medical staff. Good on him for potentially putting his season on the line like that in order to play rubbing rag opposition in what should have been a comparatively meaningless regular round fixture - except recent poor results made it a must win to the coach who selected him.

I give you a barely adequate squad, high in quality but low in quantity - now straining to it's limit.

Spot on tvoc, and now we have Delaney having surgery too where the coach has admitted it needed doing previously, but has now got to the point where it has to be done.

Yet still some posters on here tell us that the coach is handling it correctly.
