I am certainly not condoning the idiots tonight but ....

changes have been made this year, like I pm'd you they would last year. This year at the KC Stadium you have not been able to take beer to your seat, East Stand is all reserved which has wiped out Chav Corner, there is a Family Section in West Stand with some great deals on matches and the "fans" who entered the playing area last year against you have been dealt life time bans. But I suppose you are going to tell me Hull have done nothing, blah, blah, blah, and start name calling with me again.

Well done for tonight btw eusa_clap.gif

I agree, that North East corner has just been left to cause trouble without any intervention...

Quote: Mrs Barista "Did anyone see the full "incident"?

I was not far from it, and I saw one pint of beer being thrown, a minor scuffle which the stewards resolved in probably half a minute, and 2 Leeds fans being escorted out. Also a Leeds teenage girl with King Kev 13 on her shirt marching along the front of the West Terrace at the end giving us all 2 one-fingered salutes and screeching at the top of her voice before being accosted by 3 stewards and escorted out. Webb also gave us the W****r" gesture too. I'm not excusing anyone that behaved badly, but would like to know some facts, as all we have so far is that the crowd was boisterous and no arrests were made.'"

Whether it was a few Hull fans or a few Leeds fans it's an unforunate incident that has no place at a RL ground BUT shouldn't be used to tarnish Hull or Leeds' fans.

Give over. When ever has there been any thread about Leeds supporters carrying on en masse?

The first lad to get his marching orders we saw before the game and he could hardly stand up then never mind 60 mins in. Was a rather poor showing really but we have to remember its a minority that were probably on day release or something. all teams have this set of Wayne Kerrs, just seems Hull have a few more that become more noticable. didnt spoil the night and it looks like their own fans started to "sort" the nobs out

Quote: Sam Buca II "Leeds fans booted out aswell.

Strewards put in a good performance too I hear
This was my fifth visit to Headingley this year and out of those five visits on three occasions there has been fighting and serious disturbances involving objects being thrown at supporters and onto the playing field.

Rugby League doesn't deserve to have it's great reputation for being a safe and family-friendly spectator sport ruined by the mindless thugs and idiots at Headingley tonight, who were hell-bent on throwing bottles at the players on the pitch, throwing bottles at fellow supporters and certainly trying their best to provoke and stimulate the fighting.

The tragedy sad thing is that it's just the minority of supporters that tarnish the greatest games reputation and it's time the RFL admitted there is a growing problem within the game.

Agree

Brent Webb for one could be looking at a possible ban for inciting crowd trouble via his abusive hand gestures to the Hull FC supporters which didn't help the tense situation.

Was at the game today and it wasn't great to see. It was a minority and I hope they're dealt with appropriately. Its a real shame, as this can certainly effect the reputation for Hull FC, who should be praised for the sportsmanship their fans have shown this season. Both at the Racecourse a few weeks back when they played Crusaders and at the KC when Warrington won the league. I spoke to various Hull FC fans both today and in previous games and they're some of the most welcoming and friendly fans in Super League. There was a solid support from Hull today and I'd just like to think that the minority who did cause the trouble, were there for the occasion and weren't genuine RL supporters, as it was a big game.

There were a few Leeds fans involved, causing trouble, but the majority were away fans causing the trouble. I hope these are dealt with as we don't want to see this in our sport.

Still had a good day out. Whenever I seem to visit Leeds, I always get drenched.

The idiot with a cap on that was dragged out first by the stewards was drunk before he'd even got in the ground. He was walking down to the ground from the Skyrack with a small group of other drunken idiots singing abusive songs. It's a shame he was let in the ground in the first place and that the police officer outside the ground that I warned about this group's behaviour, did nothing.

A police presence is what is required within the ground. The stewards were far too slow to react and left one of their own in the middle of a mob trying to sort it out. The same thing happened in the north stand versus H.K.R when stewards let a situation steadily get out of hand instead of nipping it in the bud and dealing with it. Credit to the Hull fans that tried to deal with the s throwing bottles but unfortunately there seemed to be more people backing the bother causers from where i was stood.
