Sorry fella but unless it was Leeds (around that time) I don't carry that info. It wasn't Leeds so that narrows the possibilities down a bit.
What you need is a copy of the Rothmans Rugby League Yearbook (7th Year) 1987/88 (I think that's how they worked) - I've only got 1 to 5 and 14.

| Top non-Leeds moments... well, GB/Eng moments have been hard to come by, and I've only been present in person for one GB win against the Aussies, and it wasn't in truth, that great a game. I think I can count ones seen on TV though.
1) Wide to West - actually, more specifically, the bit where Matthew Elliott fell off his chair. Pure sporting theatre. TV.
2) Melbourne 1992, a match that delayed my acceptance of Australian domination. Worth it though. TV.
3) 2005 Tri-Nations final. Always nice to be on hand to see an upset loss for the Aussies. A really clinical NZ performance, and all the more enjoyable for not being too partisan, and thus able to relax a bit.

Shopping sprees, RPG's, ecstasy, atrophy, Genocide, pimp my ride, politize, euphemize, Injustice everywhere, apathy, I don't care, Hurricanes, climate change, huh! Therapy, I won't tell, rehab and LOL, Worldwide calamity, TV reality, Euthanize, supersize, death squads and boob jobs, VIP infamy, gratify instantly!: |
|
| my top 3 are probably not in any order but
- 98 CC final, proof that every dog has its day
- Wide to West
- Probably one of the my favourite ever games Salford v Saints last year at The Willows, 14 try's, Salford took the lead on the first attack and never let it go and there was never more than around 4 points in it until the very last minute or so
other great moments; the miracle try SoO1 in '94, 'Here they come through Nightingale' 4 Nations final last year, Saints CC final comeback in '96, Murrayfield Magic last season thousends of fans walking down a narrow street kicking a ball in the air catching it and doing it again and one poor lad even had to retrieve it from someones front garden.....Fans together, you dont see that in football.

This week: Four keys to a Rhinos win in the WCC:Transparent Backgrounds/Waldorf.gif |
|
| 1996 Challenge Cup Final - Robbie Paul's hat-trick, Goulding and Martyn tormenting Nathan Graham with their kicking.
Melbourne 1992 - Graham Steadman nipping in at the corner, ET's Bambi on Ice impression trying to cover Schofield's grubber through for a try.
Sydney 1988 - The late Mike Gregory ignoring Martin Offiah screaming for the ball alongside him and outpacing the cover, "Ford, he's a stepper Ford...", "And he does a little boogie..".

Wally Lewis desperately trying to obstruct Offiah like it made a difference.

Indeed - and Gregory outpacing the NSWRL's golden boy of physical perfection in "Junior" Pearce to boot.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| 1. Wide out West was funny because the same thing had happened to Elliott only 2/3 weeks before against Wigan - plus Long putting mascot head on was hilarious.
2. Roosters v Penrith 2003 NRL GF - IIRC each side made over 350 tackles incredible game.
3. WCC of the following year when the Aussies at last took it seriously and gulf between the two leagues was laid bare for all to see. The finest display by any Aussie club side here I have ever seen.

| Tri-Nations final at ER in 04 to see that Aussie team live when they destroyed Nobles "Team of 13's" an absolute joy to watch and i actually didn't care it was against GB because the skill on show was sublime.
12 man GB beating the Aussies at Wembley after Edwards got sent off an outstanding effort and highlighted by Davies' try in the corner.
NZ Beating the Aussies in the WC final was another great "under-dog" story and a great performance by the Kiwis lead superbly by Marshall.

Of highwayman fame?'"
Mason-Nelson I'm always making that slip

| For sheer emotion and being at the game it must be:
1. Donny promotion to top division, I nearly cried I was so happy
2. Donny beating Widnes in the first game of the following year, and then seeing them top of the league on the next programme's cover.
3. Great Britain beating Australia at McAlpine in 2001?? Me and my brother got on the 9o'clock news.

Wasn't that the second game? I was at their first game in the top flight, when they beat Stains at Knowlsey Road. That was a glorious day. A juiced-up Jamie Bloem ripped St Helens to pieces, and it was great when Tony Fisher came onto the pitch to salute the Donny fans.

86.jpg Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.
But you’ve got to keep believing.:86.jpg |

We soon put them in their place though At some cost to Alan Tait's head if I remember
Anyway - three non Leeds RL moments:
1. Wembley 1998 (Cup Final)
2. Wembley 1990 (Test Match)
3. Wembley 1994 (Test Match)

| Ah yes, it was the second game. All I remember is the concrete still drying as we were allowed into the ground. I wasn't allowed to travel to Saints game due to being found drinking on the school field at lunch time, god i was hard!
