Spoken like a true Leeds fan. Anyone who wants Huddersfield to win needs a post code check.
In the other, I hope it's a good game where rugby league and the best side on the day are the winners.
That said Sam Tomkins is starting to annoy me already though so I hope Tony Smith's (and James Lowes') Warrington (with Mathers, Morley and Carvell) are that side.

I want Hudds to win and my postcode is 130 miles from Headingley, so I might just back up your idea.
I want Leeds to win a Grand Final obviously, but I like watching the CC Final as a neutral and I've found that the last 3 of them have just sort of merged into one big "Saints subdue earlier spirited resistance to win/retain cup against ANOther victim" events. I want a change.

I never said I wanted St Helens to win the final and if it were at all likely I'd really like to see them lose it.

Don't we, as true Leeds fans, want them supping in celebration for a few days afterwards?

It's an interesting argument.
Would Potter turn a blind eye to a post match celebration? He looks the sort to have them back in Sunday morning rehabbing and preparing for the next game.

| My problem is that I support any Yorks side if it's playing a team from the other side of the Pennines, so I want the Giants to win, but I also want Saints to be knackered when they play us.
The other game is easier, I hate Wigan so come on the Wolves.
Then reverting to type I want the Giants to beat the Wolves at Wembley.
Otherwise Saints to lose getting battered in the process, trouble is that will really fire them up to want to win the Grand Final.

| I have a feeling it could be a Warrington Saints final.
Would we really want to be playing a Saints side suffering a cup final hangover just a couple of weeks away from the play offs? Not the best preparation.

I for one hope that the pies get beat, then you can all change your minds again and want rid of Nobby!
Regarding the most famous rugby club in the world, didn't they used to play at the most famous ground in the world?
Central Park is no longer with us,neither are wigan the most famous club in the world, surely that has always been St George?

| I want to see a good final this year - the last two have been exciting for maybe 20 minutes each.
Wigan vs Saints would be my choice.

| I'd like to see a Huddersfield V Warrington final. I think Huddersfield could beat Saints on their day. However, I suppose on a tactical level, we would want Saints to get through, as they would play the final the weekend before they come to Headingley.

I think if you're going to allow us to be there then it may be more exciting against Wire because they would really want to end their hoodoo at Wembley and these days us and them have some really great contests. Wigan and Saints have been close three out of the last four times we have played but I don't think those games have been as exciting as those we have played against Wire. YMMV

Fair point. It might also allow me to clap Morley with the Cup for a second time.
