One of the reasons he gave publically for not coming back to Leeds was that they had quality young players who could play no. 6 (McGuire & Sinfield).
If it was me I probably wouldn't have come back to the club, it was adifferent set of players, coach etc plus he knew he would find it difficult to establish himself as the first choice no. 6 once more.
I do not think for once second he was wanted back at Leeds from a playing perspective, I'd think Leeds' main gripe was missing out on a transfer fee (Leeds to Bradford)

I don't need to know the ins and outs of the case but equally as I quite clearly stated in the opinion of a judge in a court of law Harris had an obligation to the Leeds club that he wilfully reneged on.
As a Leeds fan I'm not inclined to overlook that fact even if others do.

And the difference in the size of contract Bradford put before him had no bearing on his decision I suppose?

This has cost the Bulls big time, so much so that it indirectly caused a breaking up of their 2005 GF winning squad, the fact that the Bulls club have deteriorated so rapidly since is proof that it was financial suicide by Caisley in offering Harris that deal.
Harris has also lost out financially, rumour has it that he has already spent in the region of £90,000 in legal fees and the case hasn't been concluded yet!

Good job he was rewarded with that bumper deal from the dulls then.

I agree and it effectively forced 'lawyer Chris' out of the game and it's a combination of the two that has led to the Bulls change of direction for the worse. IMO.
Bradford without Caisley aren't serious opposition for GH in the boardroom.

It's ironic though that leeds fans booed him for going to the bulls when that very move basically f*cked them up and had he come back here we'd have been f*cked. To put it simply.

How so?
Leeds had budgeted all along for Harris to return.
What happened to Bradford was borne out of Caisley's bitter feud with Hetherington and a classic piece of one-up-man-ship on his part backfiring spectacularly when Leeds bravely took them to court.

| Iestyn Harris was a fantastic player for Leeds and now he is no longer plying his trade in Super League he should be remembered for the good times that he brought to Headingley and not the whole Bradford Bulls affair...

| When he steps out onto the pitch he should be rightfully cheered/ clapped as the joker has mentioned above. What is done is done.
