Saw it at the weekend, disappointed me.

I expected more grit and balls (Dark Knight stylee), did I get it?? No.

Another dull, action by numbers flick. Daniel Craig attempting to get through a film with his 'mean and moody' look. It wouldn't even scare Craig Loiner.

Redundant of cheesy one liners also. Q and Moneypenny also still missing. Just wrong on many levels.

Best feature - it was a short film.

Watched Death proof earlier, was pleasently surprised. My mates had gave me some negative reviews!

Star Wars 'prequels' 1 and 2 (third was OKish). Mind you, if you watch the originals now they really aren't that well done either but sort of hold together due to the basic story and the fact I loved them as a kid.

Matrix 2 and 3 - there was MAYBE enough for one sequel, never enough for two.

Transporter 2 - I enjoyed the first, as it was all a bit slapdash and silly. Sequel was just bad.

TBH I generally find a bit of an inverse relationship - the more I look forward to a movie the worse my opinion of it. So I try not to get too excited before I see them.

Highlander 2 is so far from the original it's untrue. Now he's a alien, where did that come from.

Check out the 1995 Director’s Cut (Highlander II: The Renegade) which removes all reference to the Immortals being aliens from another planet.

The Simpsons film was a real disappointment.

I've still to see it.

Is it a disappointment based on the brilliance that was the Simpsons up until about 1997, or is a disappointment based on the rubbish they've made since?

Based on the the former, although you could probably push it to 1998. TBH I haven't seen much of the latter.

X Men 3 isn't up to the high standards of the first two directed by Singer.
