Watkins looks finished to me.. Myler needs to go. Awful. Just awful

| Quote: cas all the way "I thought our right side was bad with Minikin and Clare but wow. Your right side is atrocious. No idea what has happened to Watkins but he looks to have just give in. Jesse and Blair just ran them to bits with even Eden looking like a good winger.
Think you will still beat London though which will give you time to bring in a top coach.
I've no idea how Agar keeps getting jobs. Everywhere he has been he makes teams look incompetent.'"
Dreadful arent they..

| Quote: BrisbaneRhino "Singleton 5.3m per carry bettered by the 20kg lighter Donaldson again. Laughable stats again, despite doing some work in defence. Sad to say Watkins is now so bad in defence that he's being targeted as he's clearly seen as a turnstyle. Almost all Cas' tries came from desperately poor efforts on our part - not to say they wouldn't have won anyway but we just gift opposition tries through lack of line speed and team effort. There is no pride at all in our goal line defence.
The last try was almost as bad as any I've seen, as it summed up the complete lack of effort - poorish kick, line wanders up, one pass and they're through. Utter disgrace.'"
Agreed, he's the worst of the lot for me.

Going forward yes, but again surely people can not ignore defence. I am not saying it is a reason he should be in, but 43 tackles and 2 misses is a hell of a work load to take out of the team, when it appears his replacements can’t match that level. If you meant Singleton.

| Quote: Gotcha "By the way, the short period Dwyer was on, he missed five tackles. That is pretty pathetic, and no wonder he was pulled off and not back on.'"
From reading the comments on here recently it seems that many Leeds fans see Dwyer as one of the few positives this year. Personally I think he is one of your biggest issues. You can't doubt his effort and enthusiasm, but he is way too erratic. Hooker is a vital position, it's not just about running from dummy half. He takes terrible options all of the time and just generally plays like a headless chicken.

| Dwyer is a headless chicken type player. He’s ok if you need to spark things up a bit for a brief period but too often he just makes it up as he goes along and is difficult to read. In defence it’s like his brain can’t keep up with his body.

I can see the comparison. Rocks and diamonds. Not what you want in a hooker.

I think more back to Mick Shaw, who looked incredible at times, but just not the player you could rely on all round,

| Terrible performance against an average looking Cas side that didn`t do anything special yet still beat us comfortably.
I cannot believe how little passion or bottle Leeds now have.
Myler and Sutcliffe and Watkins were a complete waste of a jersey.
McLelland you can see has the skills but is not yet up to SL standard although I think he will get there.
Same can be said for Newman.
Smith I thought wasn`t that bad and will look better alongside Ward whenever he can get back on the pitch.
Briscoe did much better than he did against Bradford and Handley tried his best.
But unless we can get some mongrel in that pack and find another half back we will continue to battle relegation with London.
Watkins either needs to go on loan or move in to the second row and Sutcliffe and Myler need dropping.

| Maybe you should raid the lower leagues for some mongrel? A Farrell and Fleary for 2020 wouldn't go amiss.
In fact Leeds now remind me of the 1997 side. A few useful juniors and one or two decent players but a lot of dross. Like then Hetherington needs to splash the cash for a playmaker like he did with Harris and some tough forwards to give you a harder edge.

Yes I'm reminded of that era too

| We were just not good enough, at times we competed well, but other times we were poor. However we are seeing some kind of improvement. Kendall the ref as usual had a shocker for both teams, how he gets games is unbeleivable, yet not using the video ref on a few occasions was poor. Short of a half back, a quality half back would get us moving forward especially in game management and at the end of plays etc. Its time to make concrete offers of £200k for both Hastings and Trueman.
On thing I did note last night sitting behind the Cas dug out, when their forwards left the pitch for a rest they were well spent, you could see they had done a full shift and was equally ready to return when called upon, this is what I want our forwards to be like. Their back row last night was good. I just wish we had the same commitment and quality
