Fantastic effort, i’l take that does not feel like a loss, some players stock gone up, some on terminal decline. Broadbent just looks like one off those players who just has to play now and will get better and better.

Unlucky a bit today for me we didn't help ourselves with silly errors and unnecessary six agains given away. But with the team we had out we gave a good effort a full strength backline and I reckon we'd have pipped Cas today, our youngsters in Broadbent, Hall, A.Sutcliffe don't look too out of depth for me and will get valuable game time for there development they might miss a few tackles and make a few errors but they look very promising for us. Tetevano will be class for us he brings that aggression too our pack we've missed for a few years now. The Briscoes get a lot of stick but L.Briscoe is actually are really good finisher has finished a few quality tries for us and although T.Briscoe gave away a criminal six again which lead too cas 3rd try he is not too bad defensively a shutting down attackers but they are both behind Handley in our squad. Don't see us advancing in Cup next week Saints are too strong I reckon but we'll have a dig I hope.

Agree re Broadbent he’s going to be very very good. Interesting on how that impacts Hurrell deal.. with L Sutcliffe and Newman also centres

Not sure we didn’t throw eastmond in for minutes today would have contributed way more than sutcliffe, not sure we will give Saints the game we all want next week either, sad to say but I reckon we won’t be retaining the cup this year

I thought broadbent did great. Tetevano too. We need players back but there was far more good than bad in that. We kept a cas side that murdered wire last week pretty much in their box

I was expecting a cricket score before the game so fairly pleased.It shows they really work for each other. Broadbent was put under alot of pressure but soaked it up and produced a great ball for the try. Plenty of pluses and plenty of good players still to come in.

We'd have won that match if we had half a back line, hopefully we can get Myler back at least and give us a chance for a few weeks until we get some players back
Hall did really well considering, and I thought T.Briscoe did well working with him jamming in with him and giving him help
Again I thought our pack played well and I'm llooking forward to seeing what a decent strength back line could do behind them
Onwards and upwards

Strange feeling as we all hate losing, but can’t fault the effort today.
Broadbent all class, Tetevano, well, that’s why he’s marquee, and thought Alex Sutcliffe was outstanding in one on one defence.

Few daft errors cut out, and not getting pinged every time we seemed to pin Cas in their own 20, and we win that.

Was frightened for Corey after the first 20, but second half the kid tackled everything, pleased for him.

Good performance in the circumstances, thought all the young lads really got stuck in again.

Annoyed with some stupidity from some senior players at crucial moments but that’s us all over.

Still think we need at least one more enforcer in the pack. We need a big horrible thing.

Overall, given where we are at, very pleased with that.

Newman in the wing for me for next year or two at least , just has not got enough handling skill for a centre, Broadbent has hands.
