| Tony Williams is the Karl Pryce of the NRL - because of his size loads of coaches have thought him worth a go to see if they can get him to play to a level he's capable of. All have failed because whilst he's physically huge, he has a pea-sized heart.

Agreeed he had huge potential at the Doggies as did Idris but neither have/had the heart for it.

| Now that the dust is settling on the season just finished for Leeds, to my mind it’s clear what we need. If we bring in more players in the close season they all need to be forwards who have fire in them. If we do that and work on our attitude that will make a huge difference, then the following year we can add more quality in other positions.
The whole pack needs an entire overhaul, and the squad attitude does too.
The kids need to be given games here and there next season to prepare them for bigger roles in 2020 and then to step up in 2021.

| Even if those 3 stay, we can still move out Mullally, Walters, Crosby and Thompson. I don’t believe we’ve been spending the cap, so as long as the incoming players are better than those that are leaving and the 3 “remainers”, we are moving forwards.

But there again I’m sure that the same poster that told us months ago that Keinhorst had signed elsewhere said that Mullalley & Walters had also agreed new deals with us?

| I remember that too, I’m just hoping they were wrong. I can’t imagine even their mums could make a case for them to be at a top 4 club.

| Sinfield looked and sounded a dejected man in his interview. The club did have several opportunities to invest in quality for this season and next in the likes of Hastings and Greenwood though were either not interested or not their preferred choice. Starting to recruit at this time of year is going to mean scraping the barrel.
The exciting thing is that beyond the dross of last night there’s still the likes of Walters and Ormonroyd

If that's the case then the powers that be are looking very penny wise but pound foolish. The club has some hefty debts to service for the lovely new stadium. They won't be able to meet those commitments with the revenue they'll make serving the on field dross we've seen this year. I hope the sleeve has a few nice surprises tucked away for us, if not we will be riding our luck to avoid languishing at the bottom of the table. Still so long as we're not rock bottom we'll stay up , but our financial health may be somewhat damaged.

Far and away our best front rower. Would show how far the tables have turned if he goes.
That said, as much as he is an asset on the field he misses far too many games.

Garbutt to Cas is unlikely as we don’t have the quota spot for next year to accommodate him.
Watching last night, you could do worse than take Jamie Ellis from us though. He’s not the best, but at least he might allow Myler to play his natural game rather than try to play both half back roles at once.
