| Jack Broadbent looks to have the skills to be a stand off and can kick goals. Might be worth testing him out.

I did a survey by club recently and a couple of questions mentioned 19s playing as a curtain raiser as a way of getting people into the ground early.
The golden generation always played as a curtain raiser and got good crowds watching them in 2nd half of games. That has to help with transition to first team being used to surroundings and atmosphere rather than playing in front off 100 people at Stanningley.

The club might be worried that people will come in for the 19's then empty for the 1st team with the current rugby being played

| 10 min highlight reel of Owen Trout on his agents (show me the money) youtube page for anyone that hasnt seen much of him. A few of the clips look to be from the recent Yorkshire vs Lancashire academy game which the RFL didnt feel necessary to advertise in any way shape or form. I believe Yorkshire won based off a tweet from Rob Burrow, congratulating the Leeds lads playing for Yorkshire, other than that i wasnt able to find any info on how the game went.

| Harry Newman scored a tremendous long-range try for Fev at Rochdale last weekend and made another try with a 40m break. He obviously has a bit of filling out to do but he has a big future if he keeps on developing as he is, not many centres in the Championship have the ability to score 80m tries and he's only 18.
As a Fev fan I'd love to see him on a season-long loan next year as he's probably still a year away from being SL ready, especially defensively, and it would do him much more good than playing in the U19s, if he's still eligible for them next year. But I suspect DR is more likely.

| 7 players in the Yorkshire academy squad for this weekend. Dupree, Holroyd, Johnson, Trout, McConnell, Newman and Broadbent. Add in Mclellend, who would be a dead cert to be in if he wasnt just coming back from union and things are looking very good for the future.

Yes dual reg for him win win win situation for player and both clubs, if he plays/steps up well, back into super league for end of 2019 or into 2020.
