| Good win there. Though both teams played pretty well, Catalans are always a bit hit and miss but there were times they defended really well on their line.
Sutcliffe played really well i thought, took more control and got himself involved. JJB is still an utter machine, Ward needs consistent game time, Cuthbertson looked dangerous (but i dont think we have the dynamism in the middle to make the most of him) Golding looks absolutely at home at this level and if he can add a support game ala McGuire to his skillset i think he can be a very special player.
Unsurprisingly (considering we were missing Watkins and Hall) we played a very narrow game, worked them down the middle and owned that last twenty minutes against a big strong pack.

Who cares it was 2 points that we didnt deserve but we just had players coming up with a few game breakers (including a great touchline conversion) at the right times
Used to happen all the time under McClennan, not the prettiest win but it shows the team is willing to play till the death and has enough quality to win tight games

| That is massive. Shocking for 65 minutes and still managing to pull a win off at Catalan.

| Good win in the end with a never say die attitude. Cuthbertson was very good again with a big effort from JJB but Singleton was disappointing and Mullally was poor. Galloway was solid and Burrow's running was a handful. Both he and McGuire did enough on attack to win us the game.

JJB is infuriating with silly penalties.
Love his effort though.

| I thought we played well tonight in large patches.a bit clueless as usual when in the opposition 25 and our right side defence was woeful throughout but can't fault the effort from the lads and to win that feels like a good 2 points stolen which we may need with a tough period coming.
Would like to add a great following and im very happy to see the weather looked good for those that did travel

| Play right till the end, put the effort and grunt in right till the end and you shall reap the rewards. Pity we couldn't do that last week, but fair play tonight. Happy for the thousand or so supporters out there. They will have a fantastic evening.

| Thought Galloways second stint was very good, made metered and found his front every time, allowing others to play off the back of quick ball.

Yep totally agree. Good win when things didn't go our way.
Sutty showed why he needs to stay. Great goal kicking.

| A great win that, and a great attitude to come back. Our discipline will need to improve massively, a better side would've been out of sight in that first half.
I thought we were good with the ball at times, and we didn't struggle to get into good field position, but our decision making was poor at times, and we let them off the hook too often.
It's harsh to just blame McGuire alone for the poor defence on the right. Sutcliffe and Ward weren't much better, so I can see why McDermott didn't throw Lilley on. Having McGuire, Sutcliffe, Burrow, and Lilley all defending on the fringes would've been suicide.
On a positive note, I thought the forwards were excellent. Cuthbertson and Galloway in particular were outstanding. They all carried the ball well, but the discipline was poor, and we conceded some soft tries. Hopefully we can rest a few few next week, and make some adjustments ready for the Cas game.

| Tbf to Mac, he shifted Moon over to the right, but it didn't really help. Most scores come from that side anyway with the preference of right handed players. As above I was impressed with Galloway, considering he has had a major injury. Two points considering our missing players at this stage of the season is a very good result.
