Don't be so sure, Leigh only beat London by a try yesterday.

Either London (and probably Batley) are better than expected, or Leigh are worse.

Leigh were strolling through that though 34-8. Switched off in the last 10 mins probably already looking towards next week and it ended up 34-30.

Still, conceding 4 tries in as many minutes at home hardly shows a sign of a world class team.

Oh course not, but we aren't dealing with world class teams in the Middle 8's.

Well I guess we will find out how good Leigh are next week when they play Salford who (by number of SL wins) have been the best of the SL sides in the middle 8s

btw I hope we don't take London lightly just because they lost, it arguably makes them more dangerous as it means they need to beat a SL team to get in the MPG

All we can do is beat the team we are playing and we did that well. However, the fev game is now gone so we can all forget it and move on to next week.

I don't understand this obsession with not getting carried away. It's been an awful season, enjoy it when we play and win well.

We must not get carried away because we should be ashamed of not being in the Super 8s.
If we get all "Billy Big Balls" over such a win then our standards and expectations are far too low for a team of Leeds' pedigree.
Let's get through the remaining 6 games competently, everyone doing their job, then we can start to prepare for a recovery season next year and hopefully finish in the top 4.

I don't think too many are getting carried away, it was just a fun Saturday afternoon's entertainment after a mostly awful season.

Got to agree with your views on Baldwinson, he certainly proved why he hasn't been picked over our other props this season. I still think he has a future in Super League with us but he has to show some patience.

It was good to see Leeds finally put a clinical performance together even if it was against a part time team. Sutcliffe and Segeyaro ran the show in attack for us and our right edge looked lethal. It was a great confidence booster and I'm sure the lads will be feeling good going into Friday's game where we have a real opportunity to put down a marker to every other team in the middle 8s.

I wonder if there will be a middle 8 Tee shirt this year oh and a Booklet with quotes from all the games
