| Even if we have big plans for Keinhorst then we're still at least one player short in the back division.
This year we had 6 backs covering 1-5 (Webb, BJB, Watkins, Hardaker, Hall, Smith), along with a seventh we could shift from the pack (Ablett) and and an eighth we could call on from the academy for cover. That's about right in terms of numbers and injury cover.
Even in Keinhorst moves in to the top 6 in that scheme we still need one more player. If he stays at 8, we need two.

| I am hoping that Jason Crookes has been signed by the cod heads as a direct replacement for Tom Briscoe

| I think you are under rating Joel Moon who has been unlucky with injuries and has looked a class act when I have seen him pplay for Salford and a real box of tricks. I am sure Ryan Hall would welcome im as his centre partner. If we have signed a big name centre from the NRL then it wont be Moon, if we are interested in Moon
then could it be as a stand off with Sinfield to hooker and Lunt back to Huddersfield ?
Wigan are also interested in signing a replacement for Carmont so I guess if Leeds are interested then big money Wigan would splash more cash for Moon if interested.

You bet they are......we've also just let Kyle Amor go and will persist with the same old tired prop options in 2013. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

No it doesn't
Infact, I feel sorrow. Utter sorrow.
Unfortunately, Leeds' place amongst Superleague's elite is set to become untenable. This means that someone has to fill the void left by the Rhinos, and unfortunately for us all, it looks like Hull FC.
This is why I feel sorrow, not joy.
Hopefully, Leeds will enjoy a very brief transitional phase.

If superleague's elite are those that are capable of winning trophies I don't see too much evidence for Hull's imminent inclusion. But maybe their game at Warrington will provide some.

But then again, you've not got relevant authorisation to access the evidence room have you, Clearwing?
One thing is for sure, Leeds have climbed to the top of the mountain, stood at the pinnacle for a while, admired the view, took some photos and had a picnic. Now, they're all tired and full, and are beginning the descent, the forwards taking turns to carry Peacock & Leuluai down.

Perhaps. With luck, the Hull FC squad might have vacated base camp in the couple of years it takes us to get there.

Have Hull FC finished packing their picnic before they begin their ascent?

The fish will have gone off long before they reach the mountaintop. They'll end up having to eat Shaun McRea.

Hull FC are currently on an outcrop, just past halfway up the mountain. They made a bit of progress, but are being held back by some of the munchers in their team that aren't as good at climbing as the rest of them.
These players are dangling over the edge of the outcrop, with the rope being held by players like Lynch, Houghton & Briscoe. They have to make the decision to cut the rope, or to hold on and accept that they won't go any higher.
Oh what's that in the sky? It's Uncle Adam in his helicopter, co-piloted by Gareth Ellis, here to pick up the players and fly to the top.
