That should cover the interest Wakefield owe HMRC on their unpaid tax for all of ten minutes. |

| The rumour is that Wakefield's new owner will be confirmed very soon and that 2 parties are left in the negotiations from the original 4. It is not clear yet whether Wakefield will enter administration for a very brief period or whether a deal will be done, similar to a pre-pack but with a new owner... the favourite still looks to be the party I thought would take over and suspect the fans and the RL would want!
They could be very clipper, sorry chipper, in Wakefield in the next couple of days!  |

That would be him... and don't forget the lower league football club he owns and would probably (and also with some local regret I suspect) be moved to allow them to develop in a City without a league football club. This two sports teams, one stadium, thing is quite popular apparently... keeps the overheads down!  |
