I'm not sure it's a difficult piece of algebra.
1. Player takes time to adjust to new country
2. Player picks up annoying injuries, frustrating him further
3. Ex team misses his impact
4. Ex team-mate seeks new deal in UK at end of his career
5. Ex team now definitely want him back to replace departing player
6. Ex team have words with relevant agents
7. Player reads all the gossip and does a little thinking
8. Player enjoys his first season ultimately and stays on when he is more familiar with routine
9. Ex team mate signs for lower placed UK club on large salary
10. The cycle continues with new Antipodean arrivals. |

Leeds are paying a small cash sum plus Eastwood to get Gareth back.

I don't think thats a good deal for leeds at all, andrew ryan has been a good player but he's not near the same level as eastwood is and is gettin on.
