Covid came at a bad time for us. We was going well at that stage. Few injuries n weve lost momentum but the effort was there 2nite. We didnt deserve that score in my opinion but we wasnt good enough with the ball. Discipline, handling errors n last tackle plays cost us.

I thought when Kev came back and said how the club was at that stage it would take at least 3 years to turn it around, I always thought this year we would probably lose more than we win, but start to make improvements, thats why Im not concerned... yet

Better effort yes but still look poor, I agree the COVID break has totally robbed us of some good continuity and the injuries have left us looking very disjointed.

McLelland is a Championship player. Luke Briscoe is a reserve. Handley should never play Full Back again. Play Liam Sutcliffe at Full Back and Dwyer at Scrum Half if Chubs Lui isn't back. On the plus side, we got within a converted try before brain implosions from Cuthbo and Gale.

Totally agree, if you concentrate on performance the W & L take care of themselves. We look like we’ve got no idea of what we’re going to do when we start a set with or without the ball, it’s all panic stuff and therefore we get pulled apart so easily. I genuinely believe that Agar can see this, but he doesn’t know how to solve it. We need a coach and quickly but he’s got the job for this year at least. That said, Sunny doesn’t have a great track record of choosing coaches...

I get that with this squad we're not going to compete at the top and we're in a transition but I don't actually see how we're moving closer to being a side that can regularly compete. A win here and there doesn't paint over the cracks of performances like today where we look like a side that doesn't get coached at all. We play one man rugby 90% of the game, the kicks are uninspired and the last tackle plays are braindead. There's no organisation in what they are doing and it's been this way for weeks.

In the footy having watched the way Bielsa got our previously no-hopers drilled, fit and playing it's so clear how important the coach is. You can never outrun an average/bad coach for very long even with great players which we don't have. Agar as a manager is such a nothingness.
