It just highlights how weak we are for backup in the pack. The bench is pretty dire and I can’t think of any improvement to add!! Thought smith has had good pre season but I have liked what I have seen from o Connor so not too disappointed if he starts there, but mellor starting fills me

Just watched the Tindall run again on highlight reel. Burned Marshall which isn’t easy to do. Should possibly have cut inside but backed his pace out wide, and I Suspect he’d have burned any other fullback in SL too.
Would not have been a try had he passed to Austin , as Marshall had the inside covered……

The break was exciting and a highlight of the night for Leeds, however he showed his naivety in not cutting in giving himself the option of going back out and burning the FB or going for the sticks, therefore stopping the FB from setting up the tackle. He could learn from watching Scotty D sit Paul Wellens in the GF. All that said, he’s young and will hopefully learn from this.

In actually liked the confidence he showed sticking to the outside . Not many wingers burn Marshall either…..

Field is faster, but when a player is moving and another is stood still it’s virtually impossible to catch the moving player, this is also why Tindall (who I agree is quick) went past Marshall as though he wasn’t there.

Yeah there is that truth, but it has more impact if you say ‘Tindall burned Marshall’……
