I generally find this an unusual idea. Player deliberately get coach sacked by playing poorly and in turn threatening their own careers! I don’t buy that. It’s simply the case that they are not good enough.

If you look at our team today then look at the bradford team we should be winning that game, the players we have are good enough to beat a part time Championship side, theres far more to it than just the players aren’t good enough.

Merrin looks like he wants to go home to me. His mrs is always posting on social media about wanting to go home which is understandable given the tragic events.

I like Merrin both as a player and a bloke but if he wants to go home then let him, ise the money he’s on on an organising half back instead, that is probably our biggest need at the moment.
