It would've been one thing for them to move to Saturday 3pm as we know the Middle 8's Sky game is shown at that time, but moving it to Thursday in the Top 8 slot is wrong.

Looking at the fixtures, Hull vs Warrington is the Friday night, obvious choice. Wigan vs Catalans and Saints vs Wakey also on Friday night. Why not show Wigan? That could actually be for the LLS depending on results this week. I'd hazard a guess that it's because Wigan have made that game their "The Big One" for this season and probably cried foul at moving it.

The other three games in the Middle 8's are still listed for Sunday yet with no Saturday Sky game, surely the HKR vs Hudds one would be shown due to the winner staying up.

Also gives us a 4 day turnaround which isn't exactly going to help in a game wih nothing riding on it anyway.

If anyone gets a refund it would surprise me. The club could well say the fixture date is 'subject to change' (hope that's not the case)

If a TV company can change when a sport has its season then the shock of a fixture change is small importance to them

Plus, we now have a four day turnaround. Even more incentive to rest tired and old legs. Games mean nowt anyway, so hopefully we treat them with the contempt Sky are showing in picking this game for Thursday night.

Im guessing that is because the middle 8s are getting better viewing figures, however the people at sky seem too stupid to realise this is because they have some actual meaning, compared to a top 4 which was decided by the second week

So instead of putting on our game vs Hudds which could decide who goes in the MPG they are showing salford batter a championship side and showing a meaningless game the week after

In a way I wouldn't mind us losing vs Hudds now otherwise Sky and Eddie will build the Leigh game up as "The battle of the W6-L0 records" and who'll stay unbeaten throughout, as if it's important or anyone really cares.

This also means we have a Sunday-Thursday turnaround (which I thought were banned anyway), so expect a few injuries coming into the off season

Regarding Sky TV scheduling if Salford finish 4th and earn the right to stage the million pound game it will be moved to a neutral ground.

Does anyone have numbers for where to call at Sky? Going to call them and the Rhinos tomorrow and argue the toss with them both. Someone is going to give me a refund.

How long is the 'minimum notice' for changing games? I have noticed on here and Facebook that no-one seems to know if such a thing exists. I am going to ask both for details of such a thing and to be sent details of the T&Cs for it.

Surely RL has one? Otherwise they could theoretically change the date even a day or two before...

I have no issue continually getting on at Sky. I work with obstructive young people in my job on a daily basis and so don't give in easy!

Alot of leigh fans have booked hotels and train tickets for a Friday night game because we was expecting a party atmosphere and looking forward to a good drink,alot of leigh fans are saying they can't make it now on a Thursday at short notice which is a shame because it would have been a great following
