Not at all. I recall with great clarity what actually happened in that incident. Clearly you don't. Bailey did not attack anyone prone on the floor, unlike a current Wakefield player who repeatedly assaulted his prone victim.

The other party in the Bailey incident, Paul Owen, did kick a prone victim in the head. That is why Bailey's "victim" received a larger sentence than Bailey.

Bailey was convicted of violent disorder. He had a scrap. Your player was convicted of assault causing ABH. Your player subjected a defenseless and prone victim to a sickening and prolonged assault.

If you want to sit on a high horse get your facts right (appalling mixed metaphor I know).

Ryan Bailey's a cheapshot 17th man in the tackle merchant though, everyone knows that, right? He once shot 7 players during a match with a rocket launcher too - they were all under 16's players though, because he only shoots junior players. He hasn't got the bottle to shoot big hard first team players. I think it was in the same match that Brian Mcdermott knocked out Leeds' entire first team, reserve team, academy set up, coaching staff, and the entire Southstand. All with one punch.
