Sinfield has been a huge driver of Leeds winning so many titles, without Sinfield they would not have won 6 IMO, more like 2 or 3, you guys can tell me if you think thats unfair on Leeds. Also he has not been riding on a team that is utterly dominant, whilst he has always had quality players round him, a lot of Leeds titles they have been underdogs of some sort. Again if this was NFL the American fans would have regarded this as an enormous achievement to be able to lift his team up to dominate in a pretty competitive market at the top.
One other point to make about Sinfield. A lot of players that are highly touted as juniors, disappoint to some degree. Sinfield had a lot of pressure on him because we had all heard about him as a junior. I remember in the late 1990s, he was described as "the best schoolboy player in history". He has delivered on his reputation year after year and just got better.'"
