Oh well not as many as I thought judging it from being sat in the middle & with no idea opf the capacity of the West Stand.
Still we represented approx 25% of the attendees.
If I were attached to Widnes I'd be disappointed at the number of home supporters there, despite the undoubted attraction of Cardiff vs Liverpool on tv.
PS How can you be so precise about the number of Rhinos fans in attendance? |

Good stadium, nice seating, good atmosphere well done to Widnes fans for sticking it out and the genuine clapping for the rhinos WCC victory. I thought there were a couple of thousand of us but still not bad. Only bad thing about the day oh that M62

Widnes know how many away fans from numbers going through the turnstyle mate in the West Stand.North and South Stands have the most seats in them, and to be honest it was mainly die hards at the game due to our bad displays this year.I know a few who went to the Liverpool game, and i am sure more home fans will turn up when improve.Well more fans than London,Crusaders,Salford and after a few seasons i think will catch Castleford up on attendances.Anyway i went as a die hard, but is painful to watch a team get smashed everyweek?  |

Great day out, had some good banter with fans in the crown and Horse & Jockey before hand, was great to see the turnout from Leeds fans!
Widnes fans, got to give you credit, stuck behind your team and didn't leave them. Players showing signs of improvement and I don't think it will be long before you start getting points on the board.
Good luck for rest of season, thanks for the day, see you at ours!

Those numbers do not make the club sustainable in the long run.
After the club fought so hard to get back into SL not good IMV.'"
Do you have any idea how small widnes is? get real. we have a population comparable to castleford, with 3 of the most successful teams of recent years within a stones throw. |
