0113 2786181 ext. 229 gets you through to the ticket office - just tried it.

Saved it in my phone so it won't cost me £18 every time I call the ticket office from my mobile + it will also come out of my free minutes.

Why is it £10 cheaper to go watch the double header at Wembley than it was for the CC Final as raised by another poster earlier?

I hope this gets answered because otherwise it will look like someone was simply trying to profiteer out of club loyalty, and I can't believe that would actually be the case.

Scandal aint it. Amazed me that I can arrange a coach and charge £20p/p and for me to get a free seat if full, yet the club charge £40!

Only thing I can think that is different is the extra admin involved and paying someone to do it all. Not an extra £980 per coach though.

Oh and a steward/member of staff on each coach.

Do you make any money out of it? The Rhinos are a commercial company, and commercial companies do tend to make a profit.

Having said previously that some sort of discounted coach travel for the Wembley double header should be provided through clubs, I'm not going to criticise when it happens.

Is this happening at other clubs as well? Will the 7000 Wigan and HKR coaches and the Huddersfield mini bus be available?

I don't think the issue is one of making a profit, it's one of exploiting the fans when it's Leeds that are playing (and you would naturally expect more Leeds fans to take up the transport deal) than when England are playing.

A simple answer would have been that the RFL are subsidising the travel to some extent, but no such answer has been forthcoming...

The same coach company who I used had a coach advertised in their shop window at £25 per person....

I think Batley has it right, the line between exploitation and profiteering has been crossed.

The only other foreseeable reason is that I bet it is a lot harder / expensive on an August Bank Holiday weekend, when just about every coach in the North is either heading to the seaside or to Wembley, than it is on the 5th November when most people are looking to be around a bonfire somewhere.

Nevertheless, a response from the club would have been interesting ....
