The final pass was not forward, the ball was always behind the passer (Monaghan) even to the point Briers caught it.
This is the momentum rule.
If the ball always had to travel backwards relative to the pitch and not the players, then it would be virtually impossible to pass the ball when running, because the ball will always travel relative to the forward motion of the passer.
By contrast, i thought the pass from Myler to Monaghan for our second try was forward, Myler had no (or very little) forward motion and the pass went forward relative to him and the pitch.
Also it was inconclusive whether or not Buderus grounded the ball for your try, looked like a knock on to me.
Although from a different angle it could have been that his finger tips were on it as it 'bounced' down, overall i reckon it should have been a 'Benefit of the doubt try'.
