Pitts can certainly consider himself unlucky to be omitted from the squad for Hauraki unless, there are reasons other than form, for that decision. |

I'd certainly play Hauraki in this game, a home tie against an off-form team. He's supposed to be a big player for us (in a way that Pitts isn't yet) and it's in our interests to give him the opportunity to find form and confidence. Ditto Lauititi. Obviously there comes a time when the opportunity stops, but it isn't yet.
Think there'll be a bit of resting/rotation this week. Bailey and Lauititi in, Kirke and JJB (or Clarkson if not fit) out. |
