As Bluey said in his interview on Sky, you can't stifle players and have to let them play (he was referring to Smith and the kick on the first tackle he put in).[/
maybe lee had a flashback to his short spell in yawnion! Eastwood put some great hits in and peacock was quality. Who impressed u for us? Personally I thought king was very strong, obst was busy, murphy was solid in defense and took his try well and Morrison was superb until his sinbinning

Obst always gives me the jitters when he has it...a good indication of a player you know can score one of those freak tries out of nothing. He also kicks well.

| Cooke passes well to his left. Not so good when passing to his right but hey it was no worse than Sinfield's at Odsal two weeks ago. I didn't hear one comment from the Sky commentary team when the ball to Morrison for his try was a yard forward, compare and contrast to their effort at Odsal of fooooorrrrrrwwwwaaaarrrrddddd.

He's always been prepared to try the unexpected, even when he was first finding his way in the team, it won't always work, but it has a number of times, you don't really want to see that coached out of players.

Seconded foxy
You can't have it both ways and as it turned out we got a penalty from it and they ended up with 12 men which imo was the 2nd best outcome and the team gained.

39092.jpg Ryan Bailey (11/11/83) - The Most Feared Man In Super League

| I thought Eastwood was ok.
JP and Kylie, especially in the 2nd half, were monumental. Great effort.
I thought Kirke failed to fill Baileys shoes. We could have used TMFMISL in that game. He would have kept the ball secure and executed his involvement to high effect. Like the Wigan game when the heavens opened he was the only prop in that game not to have made a handling error. However he will be vital next week and with the extended game time he has had to endure so far this year a weeks sit-out seems sensible.
I thought JJB had an improved game with ball in hand. Played with the tempo I like to see him play with. Shame he went off injured.

I actually disagree. Kylie was better (imo) in his first stint, he made a couple of huge hits, one of which led to George (i think) dropping the ball which gave us some momentum when 12-0 down.
I thought his second stint he dropped a couple of balls and was at fault for at least one break Wakey mate late on which put us under pressure.
JP was just immense as usual all game, runs himself ragged. Bluey said after the game that JP metres should probably be very high as his work rate was so good.

Obst is a slippery little sucker and most of your play seems to go through him, Morrison stood up well and TBH I think he had no option than to take Smith out - taking one for the team I think its called! George looked a little shaky at times and really needs to lose the 'fro.
Cook on the other hand is well past his sell by date and is living off his reputation - a shadow of the former Hull player.

Agreed! A lovely little flick on to donald to keep a nice brake going in the first half. I think he's quality.

Don't agree I thought Delaney worked really hard, ran the hard yards when necessary and grafted in defence.
