Would like a win in this trophy, even a final appearance hasn't happened for 5 years, which is poor for a club as good as ours has been for that period

If we are going to do the double we need an easy run in or at least an easy first few rounds.
IMO it imposible to have SL teams in the CC, go on to win it, and then back it up at Old Trafford. (the way SL is so competitive in this day and age) Easy first few rounds will enable Bluey to rest the squad and rotate accordingly.

Normally I really couldn't give a poop about the Challenge cup. But as I do think our dominance after this season will start to diminish, this is finally the chance to put the jelous petty remarks of oppossition fans down their throats, and prove beyond doubt who the best team in Super League has been.
Therefore I would like someone like Hunslet at home in the nest round. Or failiing that, I always like to go to Featherstone. |

Agreed. The fact that we have been a top team this last 6 or 7 years, and not had it in our cabinet is probably a chink in our reputation.

Its the later rounds that do the damage IMO, no weeks off when the season is at its most gruelling can be tough for a small squad, and when getting to a final it can be a distraction from the rest of the league.
From our current position we'd have to be outstanding from now until July to get far in the competition and win the LL shield. |

Don't agree with this mate. There are four points separating us and Wigan. All it takes is for them to lose a game and for us to beat them in a few weeks and we're level pegging.
Yeah we have to be good but you make it sound like it is neigh-on impossible for us to get to the top of the table. |
