It is a long season. Plus it probably will take a while for the competitive juices to get flowing having won 3 on the trot. Leeds will definitely be 'up' for the WCC - we've all read things that clearly suggest the players' minds aren't entirely focused on the league with that coming up - and I suspect we'll have an almighty effort at the Challenge Cup as well.

One thing that also shouldn't be overlooked is that this year a whole batch of clubs look to have improved on last year. That makes it very unlikely you'll have a top two by as big a margin as in previous years. Nobody was going to get through this year with just one or two losses.

So you're happy with 1 win from 3 with the 1 unconvincing win coming against the team that were bottom by miles last year? According to another thread on here your early season games were going to be so easy that people were almost embarrassed at that way the RFL were "spoon feeding" you a nice gentle build up to the WCC.
