Also still two floodlights to come down and don't think all of the North stand internals (eg player changing rooms) are complete. Any timings for these to complete?'"
I think the main objective was getting it ready for spectators other stuff will take awhile longer

| The LED boards have now been installed on the pitch as part of the redevelopment of the stadium.

| Going to look even more top class once the final finishing touches like this all seen through.
I think the only thing I'd like from a cherry on cake perspective now (besides usual impossible West stand situation) would be a much bigger 4k big screen... (and smaller screens installed in blind spots)

| Probably a nice bump in advertising revenue too.

| Was impressed with the WiFi at the last game. Not many stadiums I’ve been to have that

The whole redevelopment is first class, we might not have the on field product to be proud of at the moment but the stadium is excellent, they've done such a good job of updating a 100+ year old ground it’s got so much more personality than the modern identikit stadiums, this year is the first year I’ve been to saints and Warrington away and I was really disappointed with both stadiums to be honest

| Yes I've been blown away with the new facilities... Its the little things like offering Wilsons pies, screens everywhere and the free WiFi etc that push it up a league.
And yes certainly it's retained some character vs identikit stadia. Hard to put your finger on it but so much better than Saints or Warrington etc

I think saints only cost in the region of £15000000

To be honest I think Huddersfield is a fantastic stadium, considering its now 25 years old it still feels modern snd at least its fairly individual, its also host to probably one of the best games of RL I've seen live (the 2003 challenge cup semi final)

Yep. I’ve only been in the South Stand so far but it’s very good, would love to see the North Stand when it’s fully complete.
I’ve not been to Saints yet but Warrington’s I have a bit of a soft spot for. It’s basic yes but then I guess it’s probably cheaper and crucially they got the right mix of standing and seating unlike at Salford. I think Salford’s stadium is god awful for a new stadium. Poor transport links, poor parking, wrong configuration of standing and seating, main stand underneath the tv gantry rather than opposite it, no ability to pay on the gate (have to go to the ticket office).

| The stadium was on the World Series Triathlon earlier, they read out the international cricket fixtures that are going to be held at Headingley and the rugby side was described as the home of Yorkshire Carnegie Rugby Union. No mention of Leeds Rhinos or Rugby League. Typical.

| I know it’s a well roasted old chestnut but Headingley really needs to solve the West Stand conundrum. If & when they find a way to develop that side then it’ll be far & away the best Rugby stadium in the country!

Never going to happen.
The talk of the club buying houses behind the stand is a non-starter. The council is trying to encourage more families into Headingley by moving the student area towards the city centre, so anything that proposes knocking down family homes would get laughed out of the planning meeting.
And then there's the return on investment - it just wouldn't be there. It's highly unlikely that there's a huge pent-up demand of away fans who, in a summer sport, would come to Headingley if only there was a roof over the stand.
