If thats honestly what you think my point is then you are mistaken.

That's how it seems. People have replied and much like on some VT threads you come flying out in defence of Wigan. If you were genuinely looking for an answer (you have been given one), you would have just gone about your business. Instead you drop in and fire off another missive about Wigan been this, that and the other. Why you feel the need for other clubs to fawn over your own I don't know nor understand.
I personally see Saints as a bigger threat simply as they have done it in the playoffs like ourselves. Wigan are playing well and may well win the GF this year but I would fancy ourselves or Saints ahead of them purely because we have the recent history.

What is so different about this year's Wigan squad and the ones falling short in recent seasons? Is it the acquisition of Paul Deacon?
Yesterday must be a worry, losing to a patched up St Helens side at home.
Good game to watch though, just as your Challenge Cup exit was.

Table topping in June, Odemwingie, counts for little. Sometimes table topping at the end of the season doesn't count for much more. Ask Saints fans.
I told you this a few pages back when your league lead looked much more unassailable tham it does today yet you continue to count those chickens.
Listen less to Phil Clarke and pay more attention to previous Super League seasons and you'll get a more balanced indicator.

You are an idiot.
2 threads youve started, that youve tried to get everyone to say "wigan" as the answer, added to the times you used to try and troll on the warrington forum, only for them to own you and you go crying to cherry&white in the hope that the wigan fans would back you up.
Now you come up with the pearler I quoted.
Here is a question for you, how many internationals were St Helens missing?

| Wigan were far less niggly at the PTB than normal and conceded less penalties on Sunday due to the absence of their 'best player'. It's fair to say that Wigan have been the best side in the comp so far this season, but, just as Saints are coming back into it, so can Leeds. With Wire also doing well, the destination of this season's two trophies is more wide open than ever.

| I like this thread! What I find most interesting is how both Leeds & Saints fans are effectively of the same opinion about their own and each others sides. I think both sets of supporters are not panicking or indeed, more in the case of our Saints supporters now given their league position and victory at the weekend, claiming they are going to win the GF easily.
G1 has noted a few times earlier in the season that when both sides have lost we have not seen the trolling of each other boards like we have in previous seasons. I think both sets of fans have indeed come to fully accept that the trophies are all won from late August onwards and that it is the form here that really will count.
The thing is Odemwingie they are all united in telling you that any of the current top 5 could still get to and win the GF, including Wigan! Know one is saying you can't do it, just that you might do it and have to keep up and even improve your current form, but you don't even seem satisfied with that answer! In order to get this you may need to learn it the hard way, as both Saints & Leeds fans have over recent years!

You were talking about the last 10 mins of a game 'fooling me otherwise'
I am simply basing my opinion on the season so far.

To be fair I did explain that on your board.
Someone posted on here something about Leeds and Saints always playing well at play-off time over the last few years, this got me thinking and I really don't think wire could beat saints or leeds, especially if it was away.

I wasn't coming in defence of Wigan just because I am a Wigan fan. I expect Leeds fans to see Saints as a bigger threat, and I probably agree in many ways, but if you look back at the start of the thread, I didn't agree with the REASONS.
