Can only see either Wigan or Leeds name on the trophy now. Wire aren't anywhere near good enough and Cas won't get past Wigan.

[i"It's a tired, over-the-hill squad at Leeds that's been in decline for several seasons. The amount of indiscipline they are exhibiting is a reaction from a squad of players who were used to winning silverware and having things their own way but no longer are. They all know this, but it's easier to whine, chelp, niggle, get penalised, blame the ref, blame anyone or anything but themselves. They are no longer fit for the purpose.
The time for sentiment is over.
Reason must prevail instead.
This squad is finished as a competitive entity and there should be no further contract renewals for any of them.
It's time to move on."[/i
No.
Really.

Maybe so. Will be interesting to see how they go. Last time they had a WCC to deal with (2011 and that was played in England) they spent their last bit of performance in the opening 30 mins of that CC Final and crept over the line and then limped out of the playoffs.

| Quote: G1 "Hey, why don't you compile a table showing those credible opponents and Leeds results. Like you were doing in 2011 and 2012 showing how bad Leeds were against such credible opposition until, well, you, know, they took the oomph out of that particular troll for you by winning the competition.'"
That's an interesting interpretation on your part because didn't Leeds win a completely separate competition which involved play-offs and a Grand Final? I'm quite sure those tables in 2011 and 2012 served their purpose in highlighting the utter meaninglessness of the regular season from a Leeds Rhinos POV.
Were you satisfied and content with Leeds regular season efforts, performances and results in 2011 and 2012? I like to think Leeds played an instrumental role during the 2011 and 2012 seasons by ruthlessly exposing the structural weakness of a Top 8 play-off system in a 14 team SL competition resulting in necessary structural change. I also like to think Bradford's basket-case existence over the same period and beyond has been to expose the farcical and crooked nature of the franchising system which ensured it's demise.
Given your urge to change the subject, I'll assume you do not share the ted opinion that Leeds draws in the CC are often unfavourable and it's about time they got an easy draw this time around.

Where have I intimated this?

Is that your dummy on the floor? And why would anyone be interested in Sadler's forums?

Isn't it Leeds turn to beat Wigan in any Final of any kind?

Believe it or not Wigan have not lost a home CC tie for 28 years.
The last time we did it was in a quarter final, when we were the holders - to Cas. There's an omen.

Fantastic home record in the CC that is.
Leeds by contrast have been knocked out of the CC at home on 7 occasions in the last 28 years in 1987, 1989, 1990 (Preliminary Round!), 1992, 1998, 2007 and 2009.

Expanding that period to include all eighteen completed seasons of the SL Era - 1996 to 2013
Making it to the Semi-Final, St Helens
9 - Wigan
7 - Bradford, Warrington
4 - Huddersfield, Hull
3 - Castleford, London
2 - Les Catalans, Salford
1 - Hull KR, Sheffield, Toulouse, Wakefield, Widnes
Converting Semi-Finals into Finals
5 - Bradford, Wigan
3 - Hull, Warrington
2 - Huddersfield
1 - Les Catalans, London, Sheffield
Converting Finals in to Cup Winners, Sheffield

Amazing what confidence you get by scraping past fellow Championship side Featherstone in the last round. St Helens 9 match unbeaten start to the season was always eclipsed by Leigh Centurions unbeaten start against quality opposition like Batley and Swinton...

You ought to feel privileged that I selected your quote out of all the dross in circulation on social media in the immediate aftermath of the CC draw having taken place
Five years wasn't it according to you? Since Leeds had drawn non-SL opposition until someone piped up that Leeds had in fact drawn Leigh as recently as 2012. Then there's the not-insignificant matter of absolutely nobody making any reference to drawing non-SL opposition Blackpool at home in 2010. Prior to that there was Celtic Crusaders in 2008, Workington in 2007, Rochdale and Leigh in 2006, Pia in 2005, Workington again in 2004, Whitehaven in 2003, Swinton in 2001, Fev and Dewsbury in 2000, Widnes in 1999, Whitehaven, Dewsbury and Fev in 1997.
Given the shedload of CC draws Leeds had been randomly gifted against non-SL opposition in the period immediately prior to the last 4 seasons (NOT 5 and NOT including Leigh in 2012 of course), it's no surprise some Leeds fans may feel short-changed as those easy peasy non-SL opposition CC draws of recent yesteryear have dried up somewhat to be replaced by draws against mainly Whipping Boy SL Rabble. I mean how tough is it to be drawn against teams like Wakey, Cas, Salford, London/Quins and Crusaders instead?
Then there's the small matter of all those favourable home draws that Leeds have been randomly gifted but don't quite fit in with an agenda which likes to paint an unfortunate run of bad luck with reference to CC draws. I would expect Leeds fans on the terraces and across all social media to start screaming FOUL should the club be randomly drawn away from home in the CC let's say 2 or perhaps 3 times in succession!
I'd have been well impressed if you had sarcastically posted 'FINALLY, A LEEDS HOME DRAW!' instead
