As a Wigan fan for sheer consistency over the last few years you have to hand it to him as recognition of his achievements.
You can guarantee that those griping have only been watching since we had our cup run and wouldn't remember our bad days before that.
Everyone has their own opinions but the biggest gripes are the Aussies who think they control the game fully. Ie we don't want internationals (except against NZ) we will dictate on the rules etc.
This is the shot in the arm that English RL needs . I may only see him a couple of times a year when we play Leeds, but he killed us last year more than once, and you don't always get the full picture when watching tv but there are plenty of our fans who do appreciate good players from any club.

Most people seem happy that this award has gone to a Brit - the only exceptions being the Pies and an Australian idiot from Wales.

As I've said before, I'm surprised that Sinny bagged this award but well done to the bloke, the term "consummate professional" couldn't be more fitting.

I don't know how long Kev will play for Leeds but it'll be a sad day indeed when he does hang his boots up.

I wonder if Kirke has coaching aspirations?

On the face of it he may be a good candidate. He's plenty of experience of big games, and in our very talented squad is possibly one of the people who has had to work hardest to get where he is

I doubt some on here would agree with that statement.
To my knowledge he has never been involved in coaching at the lower/junior levels unlike Burrow, JJB & now Ablett.
