| We'd have lost that earlier this year. Instead we scored 32 unanswered points. Heading in the right direction far as I'm concerned.

| I thought that one was better than Huddersfield myself. Finally can see some evidence of the side playing cohesively as a team.
Easy to underestimate what Lui has been doing; he just ties the side together and puts good kick options in. Also pretty tough 1:1 in D as well.
Handley has had a fair bit of stick on here at times this year but he's really stood up.
We wobbled a bit with such a light bench I thought - but when they tired we really had them. Nice to see Walker coming through into the line a bit more too.

Agreed. When hurrell went off I thought we may crack, and again when singleton went off. But to play over half the game with 12 men and win so convincingly was a credit to the team.
Martin was getting all the race reviews, but Lui provides some good shape and variation to our attack

| Singleton should lose his place next week even if he isn't banned.
I'd like to see Oledski brought back in because we lack punch at the moment.
Massive credit needs to go to how the club has managed the second half of this season IMO. Extremely difficult circumstances, limited options and under crushing pressure.
Most of the players who contributed to problems in the first half of the season will be gone for 2020 and I am genuinely excited by the talent coming through.

Yes thought Newman was quality and is learning from his mistakes

| Newman is going to be fantastic when he matures. Get him another closed season under his belt, you don't feel like we need to sign another centre for 2020 which is testament to the lad.
Him, Walker and Handley have plenty of improvement still in them.
Hurrell is great but injury prone so having Broadbent as back up is perfect.
Did that McLelland to HKR move get confirmed in the end? Maybe it's done but requires both sides to remain in SL first?

| I thought Myler was very good tonight, and got through a ton of graft in defence.
Martin excellent, and Lui is such a clever 6.
Is that us just about safe?

| As solid display as you’d expect. Anyone who thinks we were poor tonight needs to give there head a shake. The spirit in the team alone shone through in spades tonight. Massive 2 points

| I honestly don't think we can afford to feel safe until we're mathematically in the clear.
However we are definitely in form compared to our rivals.

| Props to your side tonight, the microscope well and truly on this fixture after last weeks’ shambles in Perpignan and you did well not to rise to the nigglefest. There was still plenty of it, you’d think Bird and Edwards would’ve learned!
You showed how to overcome that grubbiness by playing around it and not rising to it. Chris Hill et al, take note!
FWIW I remarked to my old man how much Leeds have come on, credit to everyone involved. We missed a trick not grabbing Lui/Martin had it been possible... now we’re stuck with Matty Smith! As others have said, what a prospect you have in Newman too.
All the best for the rest of the season (13th Sept aside )!

Cheers, lets hope for both clubs the game at Headingley is a dead rubber, well selfishly let’s hope for us it is
FWIW the worst thing you did to Hill was give him the captaincy its made him a worse player which is a shame

You wouldn’t find many of us who disagree there! Need a calm head like Daz Clark. Hopefully Widdop next year. Anyway, I digress.
All the best.
