If the club want to give a priority, which I think is wrong, then that priority should be the ones already in seats. Previous southstand season ticket holders should have priority for south stand standing only, as they were.

I think the south standers should have first dibs. Youse don't.

At standing, who cares. But not seating.

Its simple SS ST holders should get 1st shout at seats.
Its that stand that has its standing capacity reduced so its obvious those who frequent that stand should get the 1st shout to sit in there.
Its not entitlement or superfan syndrome its a straight forward decision.

You are correct its a straight forward commercial decision - do you lose the revenue of those currently sat in the temporary stand for a year and possibly long term or do you minimise that risk for a year and then when the North stand is complete then give the Southstand ST holders from 2018 first option on the seats?

Something has to be done to protect the revenue stream of those who will be ejected from the north stand during the final throws of the construction - to do otherwise would be commercial suicide.

Guys , anyone wanting a seat will get one. Most of the North stand will be available to buy and if they need a few extra seats for the corporate season ticket holders they will find them seats. This assumes all corporate sales are the same as this year and candidly some people will look to buy on a match by match basis after all the rubbish that has been served up this year and the new prices for what they expect to charge for sitting in the stands next year.
Expect to pay upwards of at least £500 / £600 per season ticket to sit in either the North Stand or the south stand next season and if the prices are correct they will be plenty seats left for all who want to sit down. So at the moment everyone who wants to sit down will get a ticket

Southstand season ticket holders should be given first dibs on seats in the Southstand because that is what they were promised!

Although the club also promised that world class players would not be allowed to leave without suitable replacements being signed, so there you go.

Are we talking permanent first choice on seats in the SS or first use of the seats in the SS pending supposed post-start of season completion of the North Stand.

The planning application for the South Stand explained that the seats would be used first by displaced North Standers. Now that was when the two were not going to be done at the same time but the logic has been long established. That didn't indicate those people wouldn't largely go back to the north side when it was complete - but given the big reduction in final North Stand capacity there has to be some migration over to the south seats.

Its called the South Stand for a reason !

No-one “deserves” first opportunity over anyone else. Southstanders aren’t somehow by default better fans than anyone else. I speak as one. I’d like a South Stand seat with my dad for next season, if I don’t get one then meh, I’ll find somewhere else to either sit or stand.

Didn't say they were. I just think the people who sit/stand in a stand should get first choice for that stand.

Why does that seem so en illogical?
