That or Moon. He passed his tests from his concussion but maybe he didn't feel right after training again, recall that happening to another player recently (might've been in RU)

I don't know about that, it went very dark at about 9.30 this morning.

I've said all week. If Wigan win it won't be pretty, but as things are just can't see it.

| Silverwood doing his best to keep Wigan in it. Giving them soft penalties and letting them get away with everything. Hate that guy

| 2nd Wigan try had a lot to do with Silverwood, but Leeds should have scored a lot more than 16 and that's not his fault.

| Aiton and Cuthbertson having blinders. Hopefully our left edge have a better half, Ablett in particular. Best game of the year so far.

| Worryingly close. But a very good game to watch.

Thought he got both those right tbh. But I was more referring to the two tries Ablett bombed.

| That Wigan team are terrible. We should have battered them, and with better decision-making, better goalkicking, better refereeing we would have.
Worst I've seen Wigan since Millward. Unless O'Loughlin comes back great guns they could struggle to make the 8.
Cuthbertson M.O.M by a distance. His offloads are ridiculous. Mention to JJB who was excellent and JP had his best game of the season. Ward, Aiton, McGuire good. Yates was decent. Ablett and Hall had shockers.
Hardaker showed why we need him with two late try-savers on Burgess that I don't think any other fullback in the league would have made.

| Strange feelings afterwards. Thought we were comfortably the better team but we found a way to make it close again which is annoying. Ablett messed up two chances that could've seen us with clear daylight by halftime. The got back into just before halftime but it was almost due to how poor Wigan were.....throwing poor and loose passes and our guys getting a touch on it and back to 6 for them. Got a bit too cocky in the final 10, I know it's not attractive to watch but a bit of up-the-jumper was required then and we gave them a sniff to possibly get back in it.
Cuthbertson clear Man of the Match, Aiton good also although threw a shocker of an interception. Good to see Yates get more minutes this time and looked solid enough and good showings from Singleton and also Ward who produce a real game changing moment when he forced Bowen back over for a drop-out after we started the 2nd half a bit slowly.
Also I was kinda glad we didn't sign Mossop at the time......tonight enforced that belief. Wigan need O'Loughlin back, they look like a rudderless ship.

| Very good win. Any win against a rival is vital and we played very well for large parts of that game. The forwards were outstanding, Cuthbertson and Ward were excellent once again, and Hardaker was outstanding at the back apart from one poor decision to leave a bomb to Handley he was almost faultless, it's just a shame he can't pass to save his life because it's the only thing missing from his game.
Aiton outplayed his opposite number again I thought, I really don't reckon much to McCllorum, he was probably the worst hooker from the 4 on show tonight.
Sutclife and McGuire were pretty good, and seemed to work better as a combination than what we've seen so far this season, but the game management at the end almost cost us, but it's a combination I think we should persevere with.
The game itself I thought was very good to watch, plenty of skill, pace, and intensity.

| Thought we played quite well in long periods there and really should have been out of sight earlier but no points conceded second half, can't knock that. Cuthbertson was superb, he is far exceeding my expectations and seems to have quickly moved JP over as pack talisman (taking nothing away from JP) exactly what we needed.
As for Wigan, the obvious team talk at half time from the ape, something along the lines of 'lets up the intensity and start knocking some f'ing heads off lads!!' was clearly taken on board!
