I forgot. Rugby League is all about clubs from big cities doing well. That's why our history is littered with successful teams from London, Paris, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester etc.
I'd happily see teams like Cas, Hull, Salford and Halifax (sorry Wakefield) become genuine contenders for silverware. |

Personally I'd have gone for 35 years which would have produced this instead:
Wigan (11), St Helens (7), Leeds (3), Widnes (3), Hull (2), Bradford (2), Warrington (2)
Which shows Leeds to be the third most successfull Challenge Cup winning side over that period and that incidentally matches their place on the all-time Challenge Cup list so has to be more representative than any selective 32 year snap-shot. |
