We would all have loved Segeyaro to come back without a doubt if his heart was in it but it clearly wasn't and hence why he reneged on his contract.

So how would you have handled this scenario and would you have kept him then despite him not wanting to be here,just because his talents would be a loss to our club and SL?

Parcell looks the better player for leeds to me

Agreed, he's quicker out of DH, actually passes the ball backwards, and is as good as Seg defensively. His kicking game isn't in the same class, but his other strengths make up for that.

Parcell's arrival has helped us move on from that outdated flat (or forward) passing approach. I'm happy with that. And while Segeyaro may/may not be the better player, the game will be better served if we can deliver a better brand of rugby where players remember how to run better lines and attack from deeper.

One other thing about Segeyaro is that if you saw his big hits in the NRL and some he did here and he got in the face of the referee in the game vs Leigh last year I was always concerned if he did stay that we would eventually lose him sometimes to suspensions.

Parcell has made a difference and I too am glad we are using the flat ball less. We don't have enough quick players pushing up in support to make it worth it.

Once Garbutt and Ferres are match fit and if the fringe props can play as well as they did Vs Wakey it should take a lot of responsibility from Cuthbertson and allow him to get back to what he does best.

Segeyaro is an individual player.

Parcell is a team player and worth building something round.

According to the paper here, Segeyaro may debut for the Sharks this weekend.

He is not in the same league as Segeyaro - honest hard working player who looks better than he is because he is new, when the opposition work him out then let's see how good he is. Same applied to Cuthbertson he looked great year 1 now he just looks very average

Parcell has been here for less time than segeyaro and has looked the better of the 2. I think some people cant evaluate or compare a players worth as they just cant look past the name.
