I've fished up there before wasn't bad. I like Barwick and Scholes, some nice pubs and nice sorroundings. Very nice.

Closest club to East Leeds is either Castleford or Hunslet.

Bet theres no chance of anyone swimming in there now. It could be a nice place if the council/ Leeds & District Angling Amalgamation we're bothered about it. Theres a good head of fish obviously, thats worth a few bob. Tidy it up, fence round it, £3 to fish there for the day, could work if you ask me.

I wonder if there is that many fish left with all the pollution I suppose they spawn quicker than they die. I havent been up there now since I was about 13 throwing "skimmers" across the water

Let me get this straight, you missed out the nice places of Scholes and Barwick to try prove your point and Yeah it could if you ask me, its not as bad as it used to be and thats just from clearing the litter up. You hardly see any scrotes up there nowadays just the odd idiot who thinks he can fish.

Barwick is a good hours walk away and Scholes is tainted by the chav infested estates mentioned previously.

How'd you work out that Barwick is a good hours walk away? Scholes isn't actually, go up anytime of day and see how rare it is to find a group of yobs.
