| Handley, Ferres, and Myler are not Leeds Rhinos players by a long way.
Lolohea looks like he's been pulled from a burger kitchen rather than the NRL.
Bit baffled as a neutral hearing sky "experts" say Leeds did OK. I thought you were awful and Wigan not much better.
Are you sure you appointed a new coach? Structures look awful in attack and defence.

| Quote: Sir Kevin Sinfield "Even though it wasn’t the best game from 19 year old Jack Walker, he still looked dangerous with the ball, but he made uncharacteristic errors. Walker will be Leeds’s full back for the next 15 years and rightly so.
Myler was very poor. Lolohea hasn’t looked impressive yet, but it’s too early to write him off.
Peteru was a big improvement on Singleton and Ferres had a good game.'"
I'd like to see what Lolo can do when we're on the front foot. His defence was greatly improved this week, and we need to use his kicking game more in preference to Myler.

| Well, Im actually quite positive because I saw improvements which is what I want to see, I don’t think we’ll get anything out of our first 4 games but aslong as we improve week on week ill be happy - ish.
I don’t usually bag the refs but I firmly believe he may have lost us that game, hi first half performance was amateur hour

| Yep mixed feelings there; generally more positive than last week, although I think Warrington were the better side than Wigan.
Much happier with the pack today; Oledzki was more effective and Peteru added something. Ferres is looking much more like it this year. Ward and Merrin solid. We didn’t get badgered in the middle and that’s a big plus.
However the level of individual errors were silly; although in Walker’s case it was coming from almost trying too hard at times. He was out of position a couple of times and still struggles with the physicality.
We look like a side who need to play ourselves into some form, but at least there were glimmers of hope there.
Completion rate was shocking, and we did the exact opposite of what Furner was talking about with building pressure.

| Much improved on last week's performance although Warrington did look much better than Wigan.
Impressed with Dwyer, thought Peteru did enough to keep Singletons spot and Hurrell didn't seem to have any problems with his knee, which were all positives.
Myler's kicking was terrible and I was very critical of him last season but he Carries more threat with the ball than Lolohea.

| Much improved especially from the pack.
We looked much more threatening with Dwyer at 9 & i thought Petaru ran strong.
Hands up Ferres was much improved aswell however collectively we made too many errors with the ball with Walker & Tui just off with their handling.
Watkins looked way off the pace though & imo its going to take him 9/10 games minimum to get sharp.
Finally Thaler was woeful throughout absolutely garbage.

How did you guys look this time last year? Very similar to is and in a very similar position with new coach and players, I woild have thought a wite fan would appreciate that the first few games don’t really mean that much in the course of a season

Disagree, I think his skillset looks promising, Myler however, Jesus wept....

Ignore that doylem they've been throwing money at it for years & only to lose both finals last year.
We are at the 1st stage of an 18mth/2yr re-build with our biggest turn over of players since the early 2000's & not just mercenaries like y churned out genuine top class players that built a legacy.
We wont be top 5 imo but we'll be much better than last year & then go again in 2020.

| So this is the real transition then. To be fair not many will get wins at wire, Wigan and Saints. Long season and to be honest i would still take a mid table finish and signs of moving forward. Long way to go

| Myler needs to go end of this season. Don't rate him at all. Unconvinced with Lolohea. Looks tubby. Fat Jordan Tansey springs to mind. Don't want to write him off yet like but he's got a lot of improvement to do.. and the less said about Merrin the better.
Watkins looks so unfit it's unreal. Be a long time until he's back to anything like.

Ferres is a good player but we’ve never really seen him fit for long. He looks in much better shape this year.
Watkins was better this week than last, but still looks to be building his confidence back up again. We’ll have to see if he’s lost any pace after the injury.
Tui looked better this week than last, partly because the pack wasn’t getting mullered. But he still looks rusty which is understandable. Bit disappointed with his pace I have to say, I thought it was try time from his first break.

| For me it looked like a team that’s building, however slowly that may be that’s all that can be expected given the recruitment that’s still needed, new players and coach and the season they had last year. I would though like to see Merrin play in the back row and for the criticism of Lolohea I think he’ll come good he does have a step and a good pass on him. Walker made many quality contributions as well as his obvious mistakes, the lads 19, that needs to be accounted for.

Still don’t like Merrin at prop. What’s the point in playing your highest paid player in spells of 15-20 mins in a position which isn’t his best?
Next week I’d like to see Sutcliffe rested and Cam Smith given a chance.
