I would rather Lilley take Mcguire's spot at the moment, I can't see what he's bringing to the side at the moment. It's certainly not organisation or a kicking game.

The only positive was the performance of young Walker who dealt with just about every kick that Brough teased him with.
Otherwise we were crap in attack & never got to grips with Brough. A game to forget, one I'll not bother watching on the Sky Planner.

With all the injuries to our backs and losing Watkins and hall next week, I can't see us beating Catalans. Cas at MW I think we'll lose and then I think we'll win one of Warrington or Widnes.

I don't say this to be negative I'm just preparing myself for a tough may. What I will be interested in is how we respond in June. And where we'll be left on the table.

Would love to be proved wrong

I had a bad feeling about this game all week for some reason! Seems my senses were correct.

Terrible performance, I just hope that it's another blip, next month will be interesting but I'm not writing the team off after that performance, we've performed far and away better than I thought we would over the last 6/7 weeks so theyve got some good will in the bank with me... for now!

That was a blip and a half. Second half was absolutely craptastic. One to forget sharpish is all I can really say. Not liking Mr Mullaleys wandering around looking like he's awaiting instruction from anybody at all.

Quote: FGB "Moon may not be a half but Maguire is. WTF was he doing all game?'"

McGuire s himself every time he plays against Danny Brough.
Time for him to call it a day, no game management, no organisational skills, no bottle. Once his legs went his days were coming to an end, gets his place through club loyalty.

Seriously, its fans lie you that make me want to smash heads. Leeds win - the opposition are rubbish, Leeds lose - its Mac or Mags fault. If Mags try was allowed (which it would have been in a non televised game) we would have smashed them. We were not very good but it is not Mags fault, or Macs.

All 17 players let the team down. What did Kallum bring? or Galloway, or Bingo? etc etc. Kicking has never been one of Mags assets so why should it be now? We were beaten by the better team on the night aided by some dodgy ref calls, inc one of their tries.

We support them no matter what. If you don't like it then off and support a team that wins every week. Good luck with that.....

Big difference in kicking game quality and Leeds lost too much ball in the wet.

When the flat line off the cuff stuff does not work it looks awful. Too much lateral running as well.
Bit unlucky with some ref's calls.
Thought hudds were very motivated and compressed defence worked very well for them.
Personal view is Moon will be one of the Leeds halves for a few years to come. IMO his kicking games is better than some give him credit for and the bottom line is he is a better overall player than any other HB option Leeds have. I understand the view that he is not a traditional 6/7. I can't see Leeds signing a better player than him for next season

As poor as I thought we were in the halfs, and my god Brough showed it doesn't matter how poor your team mates are, if you are a good half you are a good half, I still think it was the forwards who were the biggest let down. Tactics, yes a big reason for this, but they were very punch weak also, very limited drive.

JJB who I personally thought ruined a lot of any moves, and disagree was good, made more hit ups in that game than any prop but Garbutt, and yet JJB has never been a metre maker. He tried massive, but his top effort wasn't to the team benefit, yet he is the one with Garbutt constantly running the ball. It must be very easy for a defence knowing what is coming.

I think Singleton and JJB also missed a fair view tackles between them, and were easy targets for Huddersfield to run at.

The defence was horrible from both teams. Some of the gaps near the line are just shocking.

This was the big issue for me, only Garbutt was willing to run it hard up the guts no stop which is what it needed from the whole team the full 80 in those conditions to buy us field position. We rarely got it in the first half and look what happened when we did, Parcel scoots through untouched.

Huddersfield are a poor team on the ropes and we gifted them field position for a whole half almost willing them to gain confidence and with brough and his kicking game 'on' that was always asking for trouble. Personally i'm not going to start going over the top and pointing fingers at individuals after one awful performances as the team have already proved this year they can respond to a bad loss, but i'm still struggling to see a successful group of players here if we are talking silverware chances anyway but the hard facts are we sit in a far better position than the majority thought we would at this stage despite this setback.

Really don't know how a try like Roberts' can be awarded. Mamo pushes the ball out of his own players hands. Garbage call.

And FFS Phil Clarke, he needs taking off Leeds games. Even by his usually low standards on impartially he was bad last night. On a couple of our high kicks he was desperately pleading with officials to call us offside and letting out a yelp of excitement on one of Cuthbertson's knock ons in the 2nd half. It's embarrassing,

He's getting worse. It's so blatent this year, his dislike of Leeds. He's silent in the commentary box until he has an opportunity to slate Leeds. And it's not just last night, the entire season he's been like it. I know he's always been bad, but I do remember in the past him saying things like Watkins is the best player to watch in super league. And when we won the treble says we were the best team to watch. This year it's another level of dislike towards Leeds and it's painful to listen to.

I think Frosties asked him on Twitter st half time if parcel had a chance of MOS and he listed five hookers in super league he thinks are in better form.
