I know you can't expect to lose a player on minute one but it now makes us look even lighter than we did. I am not surprised we are getting battered. One prop and walters on the bench and Delaney who always looks injured on the pitch..very likely for big minutes.

| Don't think we've played too bad, tbh. Starved of possession by Child's one eye, yet Wire can still only score one legit try, and that from a kick.
If Child starts evening it up in the second half we should be ok. If he doesn't we might tire badly.

| Given the amount of defending we've done and how slow we look doing it, the second half could be hard work. Leeds must score next.

Dont know what you are talking about, we have been smashed, have we even attacked their line since the first 10?
And as predicted using 3 props has cuased us to completely loose the ptb

| The one ref who was any good (a few years ago) was Thaler, and he's as bad or worse than the rest of them now. Same thing happened with Silverwood...massive deterioration. Something very wrong with how the RFL develops so-called elite refs. (Child is a bit different, he's always been comically bad)

We've been smashed because we keep being called for nothing penalties, while Wire can do what they like to stop us gaining momentum.
Their short kicking game has been goid, creating extra pressure, but they don't look like doing anything ball-in-hand. We haven't really had the chance to.
(Agree the three-prop strategy is crackers, especially if it means Walters on the bench)

If Oledzki or Baldwinson were on the bench how would that 1st half turn out different considering they wouldn't have been introduced until at least 30 mins (if at all?). They might be promising youngsters but they can't walk on water and turn the whole momentum by themselves around FFS.

It would have meant we had more on the bench than Walters and MUllally and as the game wears on it means we aren't flogging three guys to death

| Agreed, it's usually the second half when you feel it if you get the bench wrong, not the first half.

| Someone in the Leeds/Wite thread said he could potentially be the best ref if he corrected some errors. No he couldn't, his appointments to the odd big game (strangely nearly always this one) shows it up to be the token gesture it is.

Would have meant we could interchange our props earlier to try get a better grip on the game, could also have swapped a prop for one of our back rowers

You'd just be flogging other guys though? You can rotate 3 props, after 1 minute we wouldn't have no back towers if we went with Baldwinson or Oledzki who are props.
I'm disappointed with the first half but you can't put that down to a bench who would've hardly (if at all) played.
