| Again if Leeds sign Lui the club and GH need to address the issue why GH says publicly some players arnt fit for SL but we are signing a convicted wife beater?
If we did sign him I will be going all out to get answers from the club directly. I will be disgusted if we sign him and will be sending all my merch directly to GH after I've wiped my ar$e on it.

| Lui is mates with Segayaro from their days at the Cowboys.
Soward from Penrith.
Makes sense.
Have Soward AND Lui with Segayaro and it would work VERY well IMHO.

| That half back combination would make McGuire/Burrow look like Nijinski and Frankel

| Nyle Flynn and Joe Sanderson have joined Hunslet this week. Signs that we won't have a reserve side still.

| Cant understand why we wouldnt TBH.
Unless we dont want to spend the extra dosh or Leeds dont deem any of the over agers etc worth it?

| It's all a bit bemusing why we continue to spur the chance of developing promising youngsters.
Surely running a reserve team would help their development and hopefully we unearth another Sinfield.
It wont be long before these promising youngsters start choosing other SL clubs to progress.

Thats a very good point, why would a player come to Leeds if we are making judgement calls at 19 for most players to either get in the 1st team squad or leave. Wigan and Saints academy are miles ahead of ours already and we are gonna keep falling behind. We are already struggling to fit our NFT players in the squad.
On a less selfish note, I don't think its good for the game if we are loosing so many potential players. Many will go to other clubs, but these are often part time and the player will rarely develop properly in that environment.

| We really have no pathway to offer young players other than the top one or two per year. If by some miracle we had another batch come through like the early 2000s (Bailey, Ward, McGuire, Burrow, Mathers, Calderwood, Diskin basically all at the same time) how would we handle it?

| Feels like the club could be in pre-sale limbo - costs cut to a minimum. The exception would be the ss re-furb. Bet it's a cheapy but it'll mask any attendance drop off.

| I'm really not sure what's happening with RL in this country - all long term development plans are out of the window and most teams are just looking for short term gains. Player development is just another example of this - if they're not ready by 19, bin em off. Forget the fact that these kids are still not fully physically developed (do they really expect all 19 year old props to be ready to go week in/week out against seasoned pro's) and that they've never played against full grown blokes (let alone blokes who've also been in a full-time professional environment for years).
Look at the NRL currently - most players aren't making their debuts until their early 20's, and even then, it's taking a couple of seasons to hit their straps (obviously there are a few superstars who are ready at 18/19, but these are the exceptions).
I just don't understand the long term plan or benefit to the game. I'm fast losing patience and interest in the game over here.

| It's all down to a lack of money in the game.
