Yea we can afford one, we can't get them but we could afford them. They would have to give up origin and country representation which they are not going to do unless they are troubled and have to. |

Nothing coming from the Leeds camp, but wouldn't be surprised if he does come to Leeds for a year loan of souths can't get rid of some cap. Especially as NRL said they cannot use the marquee allowance for him. |

It begs a bigger question - how far under the cap must we be if we could look at signing Sam Burgess without the need to ship any big earners out? |

At what point does the marquee cap begin?
Presumably we have around that much free unless we were going to offload some players on loan to make room. |

Just seen an article on sportinglife.com (sorry don't know how to link) in which GH is apparently quoted and says "we made our interest known and were ready to proceed if given encouragement to do so - but we never even made an offer and we just had a watching brief" |

Rabbitohs Members have had an Email stating Sam Burgess has signed a 2 year deal (2016-201icon_cool.gif so looks like he isn't coming anywhere near us.
Quite disappointed after all the Hype.
