| How many threads has Bails had in recent times? It appears that every team we play against feels the need to start a thread about TMFMISL.
It makes for entertaining viewing.

Bailey has attracted a lot of extra stick following this defeat because certain posters (guess who) have decided to laud him as some sort of 'second coming' on the basis of a few above average performances this season. It is unfair that he's getting more stick than other forwards (Leuluai for example) but then again Leuluai doesn't have a clique of keyboard warriors hanging on every little incident he is involved in on the field and giving him meaningless titles and accolades designed to wind up fans from other clubs.
FWIW I think Bailey has always made a good contribution to the team (even in 2006 & 2007 when the tide of opinion on this board was against him) but sadly he has only ever shown glimpses of becoming a prop who leads from the front in the mould of Graham, Peacock, Morley, Fielden etc. The good news is that he's still relatively young for a prop forward and has been showing signs of steady improvement under McClennan. Hopefully the arrival of Brian Mac will bring more out of him. I think he's a player that Leeds still need in their team but he desperately needs others around him who are more capable of winning the collision.

| TMFTMITTISL is not a frontline prop forward and never will be. His remuneration package reflects the value he provides to the team. If that wasn't the case then he'd be paid significantly more than £800 a week.

Indeed. Far too much one-upmanship on this forum. It seems that if particular Leeds players that happen to be the flavour of the month (e.g. Diskin, Kirke, Buderus, Eastwood, JJB, McGuire, Sinfield etc) have a bad game certain posters take a perverse pleasure in drawing attention to it if it fits in with their own personal agendas.

It wasn't his finest hour. Solid in the tackle. But didn't lay a platform going forward. He let himself down. Anyone can call that.
Some have posted reasonable debate, but others (the longer the thread has gone on) seem to have delved into moronic, 'tard like, fools. Who are over-joyed by his none performance.
Were you waiting for this day??
Why would you want to bask in this 'glory' ?
After an impressive season I suppose you are over-due to stick the boot in.
Get your fix..........enjoy your fix.

They say love is blind! You should have kept your head down for a little longer or at least until your hero's performance improved. Of course it wasn't just Bailey who was to blame. The whole Leeds pack was blasted away by real go forward forwards, with the exception of Eastwood. However Mr Baileys lack of skills in not scoring a try that 90% of other players would have scored at a crucial time was certainly worthy of comment as was his cheap shot niggles. As far as being solid in the tackle he was continually driven backwards in the tackle (along with his colleagues) and improved his tackle count with a fair number of flops as third man in. If he were so solid how come we were regulary losing 20-30mtrs? People are just posting their views on a pretty average player. I think you are the one with fixations.

He should have gone in, one on one with the burglar, instead of looking around to send 2 neighbours in, so that he tackle the burglar as 3rd man.

Once again you have stated the value of Bailey’s pay packets without any substantial evidence to back this up.
Please provide some evidence that supports your claim or stop banning on about things that I suspect you have very little knowledge of.

My 'fixations' lie in support of. Which is an earnest and legitimate stance as a 'supporter'.
Other peoples fixations and enjoyment in a none performance are the ones with the issues of concern.
I hypothetically suggested before the CC semi that more 'tards would get enjoyment out of a Bailey negative than a Bailey positive and that clearly is the case.
Enjoy this moment. Do what you do best.

Your unfortunate emotional hang up with Ryan, or "fixation" as you like to say, does appear to cloud your judgement and you always descend to insulting those that disagree with you when you run out of sensible points.
Why do you assume that any of our supporters gained any "enjoyment" out of Baileys P.P. Performance (TMWWPP) on Saturday? Bitterly dissappointed would be a more acurate description.
And why is anyone a "'tard" because they pass fair comment when he performs badly. You have constantly tried to build Bailey up to something he clearly isn't. So you invite others to knock him down when he derserves it. He is a benchman who has given loyal service to Leeds over a number of years but one who has limited ability other than a good tackle count and a penchant for the occassional cheap shot.

I'm glad to see my viewpoint carries so much weight.
If people feel the need to 'counter-act' it - great.
You have missed my point by a mile yet again I'm afraid.
I have noted his game as a none performance. I call it as I see it. But another dozen players caught my eye in this area.
Just read this thread again and fish the 'enjoyment' out for yourself.
