From what Senior said on Sky last night and Reading between the lines of what he kind of implied as well then it would seem the players were not all that impressed with him

It is too simplistic to judge Bluey soley on the silverware that the team won and assume that this was all down to the coach. He inherited the top team in the competition with a settled side of established stars who had momentum and were on a winning run. It is possible that we would have won the same trophies with almost any coach such was the advantage displayed over most other sides at the time.

I am sure he made some positive inputs into getting these results but he also had some negative inputs which were apparrent in way the quality of rugby deteriorated under has tenure. The evidence was there on the pitch and the views of the players are now beginning to surface to back this up.

IMO he came over as a nice guy who couldn't quite believe his luck in landing the best job in SL because he knew he was slightly out of his depth.

The question was, should he be inducted into a fan based Internet Web Site's Hall Of Fame?

Having supremacy over 'most other sides' doesn't earn a Championship. If it did Leeds would have been Champions more frequently then they have been in the past, not least in 2005 during the SL Era.

If that is what the majority want then so be it. For me it depends on the criteria. If purely being the manager when the team wins a lot of silverware then Yes. If improving the standard of play then No.




Equally we do not know that it was the presence of Bluey that made a difference. You could also say that with another coach we could have won more trophies.

2008 we were beaten out of sight in the gf qualifier 38-10.Was it Bluey's fault we hammered by such a confidence sapping margin?and was him who got the player's up for such a good performance in the Grand Final?

That was Bluey's finest hour, I think, when his skills as a motivator came to the fore - it was a tremendous achievement to get the players up for the eliminator against Wigan and then the GF having been so comprehensively outplayed. That said, overall I feel he was the coach of a good squad rather than a good coach.

Before a decision is made ,maybe some one should ask why some of the players went on record saying its right that he has left the club even after he agreed another year?

Why?
Afterall there were players that were happy to see TS leave apparently that doesn't or shouldn't cloud what success we had under his tenure.
3yrs 2 GF WINS ,1WCC WIN and 1 LLS plus a CC final spot plus he is the only coach to retain a SL title and win a GF and a WCC in the same year says it all really tbf.
